For one year, in his/her prime?

Somewhere between $1000 and $5000 for me, but maybe closer to $1k.

Tell me you haven't watched Pet Semetary without telling me having watched it.

So you have to relive the dog’s death again?

It’d be worth the same amount not to have to

They do cloning now. One of my wife's clients paid upwards of $50k to have their deceased dog cloned. And it's not like it was a show dog or anything like that, just a regular family pet, but the family is loaded. Kind of creepy in my opinion.

Stephen King tried to warn yall.

Damn it's dusty in here all of a sudden. To answer your question, considerably more than $5K.

Now ask me what it would be worth to talk to my grandparents again.

I don’t think I would do it, but I have dreams about her from time to time. I’ll say Georgie you’re back, I thought you were dead! We’ll play around a bit and I’ll pet her but then I wake up.

Doing the clone thing is super weird to me.

And if they can clone an animal, people are currently being cloned somewhere

You would pay $5000 to hang out with a dog for 365 days?

Jesus. I need to get in the dog business. People are suckers

They can clone anything but until they can figure out whatever happens to make every living being unique, its just a nice looking copy.

Some people just haven’t experienced a real devastating loss in their lives yet.

I’m not sure I could handle the loss a 2nd time even if it meant more time with her

$50,000. My mini-schnauzer I had for 9 years was my best friend. Miss him more than I ever have anyone.

Dog lifespans average ~ 1/7th of a human lifespan.

Move on like humans have for centuries, they’ll be traits you find in the next dog that are different and some probably better than were in the recently-dead dog.

It’s a dog, not a human, a dog.

We’re not talking about a human.

We’re talking about a dog.

I'd go 2k right now to bring back my last dog for a year. He was only 3 when he passed because of a bum liver. I'd bring him back so I could watch him and his replacement run together every day. Black mouth cur's.

I'm not a dog owner. I'm just gonna bury any dead cats of mine in the little pet sematary over yonder.
