Just tired of our ineffective, inefficient gov't.

I think we should start with term limits. No way politics should become a career. That's a situation that's ripe for corruption.

oh so you mean stripping away a right for someone to vote for who they want? Adding more restrictions?

Or jobs in the private sector.
Big supporter of this.

No one who works with any public entity, from the president down to the courthouse janitor in Bunkie should be allowed to vote.

We already term limit the President. This isn't outrageous.

The original idea was removing voting right for those who don't own land.

Yeah, but that’s not the voice of the people I agree with!

At some point the US will split up. It’s inevitable.

Your original point was we'd have to remove taxes for those who wouldn't be allowed to vote. My response was to highlight how that isn't necessarily the case since we have plenty of taxes that apply to non voters.

I made no statement supporting or opposing any hypothetical scenarios.

Note or not, you don't own your land or what's on it.

Truth look at the wording on the original land grants from the bureau of land management. Property taxes may be the worst form of taxation.

Oh yeah, why I responded that those people, minus those who forfeit their rights, should be given the ability to vote.

Strong believer in no taxation without representation.

You have no clue what a hippie was, what they stood for, and what they did. They failed.

Have a downvote, a rarity from me as if a post is not good I just move on usually. This post of yours is so bad though it warrants a downvote, multiples if I could.

Eh, hippies are always winning. The world progresses and those who stay behind are left behind.

Not sure if that is right or wrong, but that is the reality.

The whole point of a constitutional republic with bicameral legislature and an independent judicial system with independent state's rights is to prevent 51% of the people from running roughshod over the 49%. This is why one particular party hates the constitution so much, calls it old, outdated, racist, living breathing document, and so forth. It's in the way of them having total control.

Would absolutely love this - but this is disinformation. White flight is not balkanization because it's temporary. Libs wiull always invade the nicer areas and try and turn it into the hellhole they left. Every single nice town with a nice landscape has been invaded by leftists.

If you can tax income you can’t tie voting rights to land ownership.
