Not really changed per se.
He’s always been an egotistical blow hard, but his messaging and championing of America first, drain the swamp, the media is the enemy of the people and attacking the power elite works for me.
I can tolerate his ego and narcissism when he stays over the target.
He needs to surround himself with less establishment and more hard hitting
civilians.

I voted for him, enthusiasticly in 2016. I was a strong supporter of his in 2020. I do believe the election was “stolen” then. Sine then, I realized his administrative appointments were terrible. His fiscal policies plunged us into record debt (though I loved his foreign policies). His handling of Covid was terrible. His verbal battles for lockdowns against Kemp and Desantis were off mark. His most recent endorsements cost us a red wave. His recent badgering vs the most successful and well liked governed in the US has pissed me off. I am off the train. I wil never vote democrat in a state wide or national election. I cannot continue to support this cartoon character.

Nope, I still think highly of the man and what he did for the average American!!
I’m not a weak minded guy that gets easily swayed by the constant negative publicity from the uniparty or the msm like some in here!!

No. It's politics.
I 100% believe one thing.. Trump has not waivered at all from his America-First stance and when he's back in the ring, I'm 100% behind him.
But then again I'm a big boy and can handle some crass tweets and tough coaching.

Are we talking pre-Covid or post-Covid 2020?
Trump was pretty good his first 3 years. Not perfect - he should have gotten more done on the border, and he was too beholden to the establishment - but pretty damn good. Then he let Fauci/the Left and certain industry run the frick over the country, and a lot of the good he did became inconsequential.

My opinion of trump has been the same since The art of the deal came out.
He is a liar and giant gaping a-hole. He worships the god in his mirror and doesn't give a damn for anything or anyone but trump.
And I am a proud Republican for over fifty years.

I love him bc he is and wasn't a politician...which is also his biggest downfall bc he ruffled too many feathers. I don't think he has a chance in hell to get elected based on the feathers he has ruffled and too many dumb voters.

Nope.
I thought everything everyone on the left thinks about him before he was elected. Then I saw what 1 guy can do against ALL odds in just 4 years. So, my opinion of him will remain unchanged in terms of his ability to deliver.

He says stupid things but his biggest enemy is and always will be the District of Colombia. Call them what you want.. establishment, cabal, globalists, etc.
The way they've spent the past 2 years making sure he gets charged with some type of crime to keep him OUT of DC by any means necessary proves this.
he was RIGHT over the mark and they were scared to fricking death.

Emerson (c.1841): "For nonconformity the world whips you with its displeasure. And therefore a man must know how to estimate a sour face."

First day in politics?
Trump is doing what he has to do, and what has worked for him in the past. If you want a circle jerk primary, losing gracefully, and taking the high road, then you just might be GOPe, because that's been their strategy for decades. Especially the part about "losing." That's why our one GOPe POTUS winner since 1988 barely won after a month or so of legal battles in Florida.

I feel like Trump has continued to show two of the three weaknesses he showed in 2016.
In 2016, I was hesitant to support him because I did not trust him to actually govern in a conservative manner (he did this for the most part), I did not trust him to understand how to actually govern (appoint people to carry out his policies via administrative agencies, use the bully pulpit to pressure congress to enact legislation, build coalitions to support agenda items, etc), and I was concerned about his temperament in torching people he previously touted.
While I have appreciated his continued pressure on demanding election integrity, he has not gone about it in a competent or effective manner. He has only continued to divide the party by going after former supporters. Sometimes, it’s deserved due to major back-stabbing, but a lot of the errors are unforced. He seems to make rivals out of folks who should be natural allies over petty disagreements that shouldn’t matter. It reflects more poorly on Trump than on others.

Not really. He was obnoxious and childish in 2016, though he was a political novelty. I voted for him twice anyway and his record in office was pretty impressive. Fast forward to 2023, he's still the same guy just not a novelty anymore and some people are growing tired of his shtick. But considering the competition I'd still vote for him.

I loved Trump’s economic policies. They benefited everyone in the country in all income classes. My opinion has changed since 2020 though because he continues to defend the jab, he allowed the business shut downs, didn’t fight mail in voting hard enough, and did not have traps in place to catch the cheating in 2020 that he knew was going to occur. He almost seems compromised in some way. DeSantis will kill him with logic in a debate. DeSantis will hammer him with criticism of how Trump handled Covid, of how Trump let Fauci run wild. DeSantis was the only politician in the country who was smart and brave enough to take calculated risks during Covid and he won my vote for doing that. He was the only true leader in the country during that time.

Trump did great things for this country and did so while dealing with an establishment that was actively seeking to have him removed from Day 1.
At the same time, he had/has a propensity to make decisions at times that certainly don’t help his own cause.
I’ve never been one to think everything he does is master level chess and every move or utterance has some three moves ahead check-mate outcome pre-planned.
That said, I’d vote for him again (as done in ‘16 and ‘20) because bottom line, his results were good for America and Americans.
Biggest concern long-term at this stage is his advanced age now. He still possesses more energy than many half his age at this point but at this stage in life, health can take a downward turn quickly. He’s not going to be around forever.
Someone out there hopefully steps forward as MAGA moves forward. Even if Trump were re-elected (and I have my sincere doubts the establishment will ever permit that), a final 4 years isn’t enough time to unwind everything the establishment has put into place.

No
I mean needless and feeble attacks on America's best conservative leader are disappointing, but we've been talking about the inevitability of it for at least a year
Trump is entitled and can't share the spotlight or build meaningful alliances with other who can help. It's not new, just more obvious.

now I can see why people on the fence didn't vote for him in 2020. I don't agree with their choice, but I can still see it.
Are you referring to people that didn't vote at all?
Being smart enough to not vote for Biden, but also not vote for Trump was choosing to be stupid. Actually that's worse stupidity than willfully voting for Biden. Being naturally stupid is more acceptable than knowing better and still choosing to be stupid.

His biggest enemy is his mouth.
His mouth is the one thing that he has absolute control over. All he needs to do is tone it down with the attacks on people he will need later. Focus the attacks on the dems and progs right now and shine a light on the positives and accomplishments of his administration. It’s that simple and he’ll benefit greatly from it. I want that bastard to win but get out of your own way. You don’t have to fight everyone unless you’re going scorched earth.
