Good. I'm tired of the failure theater anyway. McCarthy is a douche and not trustworthy. Repubs gleefully voted to fund the DOJ, so they can all eat a bag of dicks.

We all knew this was going to happen.

Dems will investigate and throw people in jail regardless of evidence.

GOPe will work with them to save power.

The GOPe will do nothing but investigate and tell the Americans we are going to do something and in the end, NOTHING is done.

Just read the letter and there is nothing new in there regarding DOJ’s posture of accommodation. But people always like to complain so here we are.

Yes.

I often call for term limits for congress, but I think that needs to be applied to all damn bureaucrats there.

“Public servants” my arse. More like domestic terrorists that only break one way, and one way hard.

Get some bank hackers to steal all their money. Then they'll comply.

They won't pay, though. They will move to quash the subpoenas, the courts will (correctly) rule in their favor, and Jim Jordan would look like a complete idiot, further eroding national support for this cause.

If they hold them in contempt and refer them to the doj, they will never be prosecuted - like Eric Holder.

Congress has “Inherent contempt” powers. Under it’s own constitutional authority, the house can order the sergeant at arms to arrest those in contempt. Waaay in the past, people have been imprisoned in the capitol until they comply.

The R’s will never do this but it’s fun to at least point out the possibilities.
