There is also an ANTIFA call for violence against police on Friday because one of their little socially inept cretins was killed yesterday (after he/she shot a cop and put them in ICU)

If you are running away, you really are not a threat. It's a stupid tactic but I really don't see how it could be could be construed as a threat to the cops. If the kid was not armed, why shoot, if he's on foot chances are he'll be picked up within 12 hrs.

It's kind of amazing how much my perspective has changed in 2.5 years.
In 2020 I was genuinely upset about the riots, impacts on my city, etc.
Now I'm very much resigned to the idea that this country is a mostly lost cause without major overhaul/balkanization/etc., so other than protecting my own I'm not sure I care that much. Obviously I don't want police or innocent civilians to be harmed, but otherwise, whatever.
