Formula for a good weekend in Memphis is pretty simple. Don’t stay at some sketch arse hotel, hit a good restaurant, go to the event you’re attending, go to another good restaurant, get out of town. Don’t “explore”.

True, but according to gossip there have been 5 or 6 bodies discovered all killed the exact same way in the same area. Shot in the head (twice if im not mistaken), dumped in a trash can and set on fire. So either there is a 20's style gang war going on or legit serial killer. And it is plausible that it is a gang war and the MPD is turning a blind eye to it as per their standard operating procedure.

My office is near the area. I'm constantly driving Winchester through Hickory Hill to Whitehaven. Got guys in our warehouse from South Memphis warning me all of the time to quit using the post office or getting gas around here

I'll wait for the video I guess.
A cop giving some dude putting their well being in jeopardy in a hellhole like Memphis an elbow to the face while subduing and arresting him doesn't bother me. We can't expect guys who deal with trash all day to not let it bubble over a little on occasion. If we hold them to a standard of perfection they'll get steamrolled by criminals and nobody will provide those services for us.
Now if they're just wailing on him for minutes, well, they'll have to account for it.
