Everyone that has read the epic knows that Gilgamesh never found the fountain of youth and died an insignificant death just like the rest of us have and will.

Except they are running out of conspiracies because they keep turning up true.

The theory is that the U.S. invaded Iraq because they wanted Gilgamesh's DNA for some reason.
Sounds about right but really doesn’t even crack the top ten of stupid stuff the government has done …

They're getting ready to rename them conspiracy laws instead of theories any day now

The scary thing is people living in the year 2023 actually believe stuff like this. Many on this board.
20-fricking-23 and people still believe invisible beings of immense power are out to both help them and sabotage them.

Your post explains a lot of what is wrong with a large swath of the electorate. You can see our resident poli/conspiracy board for starters.

This was the real reason for invading Iraq. So private dipshit could stumble upon Gilgamesh while he was trying to jack off in an alley during a patrol.
Have some decency and use a damn port-o-potty in 140 degree heat…

It’s funny that Christian’s will say he was an enemy of god when the Old Testament ripped off half of his epic story.

Gilgamesh was a proto WWE fan who liked to challenge random peasants to wrestling matches. Then he found someone who gave him a run for his money and they became bffs.
Half of the old testament is just Jewish butthurt and grievance. The tower of babel story is pure butthurt on their part because they were mad that the heathen dumbasses of Ur could build something so tall. It eventually fell into disrepair and was destroyed by some random conqueror and of course the Jews celebrated it like some kind of moral victory when it had nothing to do with them whatsoever.

It's incredible how sure of themselves some people living on a rock in an infinite void of gas and radiation that we know not even a fraction of a percent about can be.
Hell, "scientists" change their mind on just about everything every day.
