Remember what illegals go through to come here and what they go through when they are here.

They chose that. If there was even a chance that them staying in their home country would fix that country, they would stay there

Not with the corrupt governments and all job opportunities come from the cartels (in Central America at least). Teachers & nurses do well in those countries but they barely have the time to make the changes needed, and the government doesn’t like that anyway

As China implodes, Mexico stands to gain a whole lot of manufacturing, so many may be crossing the border the other way to get good paying jobs.

They call them “anchor babies “. Even though the parents are illegal, the baby is automatically a U.S. citizen. Now the rest of the family is free to join them!

A country who cannot control its borders is not a country. So, it's not really an economics question unless you are asking about a country's particular economics.

The United States economy does not exist without borders. Never has, never will. If you want to talk about the eonomy of the world without the United States, let's hear what you have in mind.

Also, it's sort of hypocritical to complain about the price of lettuce and produce at the grocery store and the cost of a bale of pine straw and also be a staunch border supporter.

It wouldn’t seem hypocritical if you had a basic understanding of economics. The only reason why we import labor is because we have fewer Americans producing. We have fewer Americans producing because 2/3’s of Americans are being stolen from to pay for the bottom 1/3. The middle third, should be supplying the most new people, but because of politicians interjecting social justice programs into the free market and disrupting it, it therefore costs more for the middle third to raise a family, and since they are generally responsible people, they’re not going to bring more life into the world at someone else’s expense.

The federal government is the direct cause of the lack of new Americans born of Americans to replace the elder ones.

Nola got a lot of illegals right after Katrina to do the drywall and roofing work. That was 17 years ago, almost a whole generation. Taking stock of the city today, is it substantially better off?

Low skilled uneducated immigrants who aren't interested in assimilating are not helpful to improving civilization.

This is about corporate profit margins and changing the electorate in the process.

Is there some reason we couldn’t shoot them off in a rocket to Flat Earth where they could utilize their hard working skills to colonize the damn thing finally? They could have it all to themselves.

And most of these people are sending money back. It’s not being recirculated in the US economy.

Go by a Publix, Western Union, or AMSCOT on a fri afternoon. Money being sent out the country like the Fed's printing machine on 100.

That is the first step in fixing this problem. We need to totally revamp our welfare system. If you're fit enough to breed, you can get a job to feed your offspring.

Our greatest economic decade was 1880s when immigration was laissez-faire.

What government programs were those immigrants abusing in the 1880’s?
