UK teams with Kyle Macy vs LSU
For some reason, I was really young but hated that dude (punchable face).

Do you remember the chant
"Kyle Macy is a fig"?
Lolol. I remember it like it was yesterday. Good times.

It was John Williams in his freshman year, 84-85.

That was John Williams, one of the all-time great Tigers who threw that ball away length of the court. That was a few years before Fess Irvin. Fess was the one who missed the front end of a one and one in I believe the Bobby Knight "bang the phone game" in the 1987 elite 8 that would have iced it had he hit it. He was a freshman that year just like Williams was the year of his mistake.

2006 Sweet 16 win over Duke.

I was there and it was glorious. Tyrus Thomas made JJ Reddick cry like a little girl which made it one of my favorite sports moments as an LSU fan.

Unfortunately it was a loss. Playing Georgia at home, LSU up by one with one second left to play and LSU was throwing the ball in bounds under the Georgia basket. Can’t remember who from LDU threw the ball in but they just launched it down court and no one touched it. Georgia got the ball under their basket, threw it is to a guy named Anderson and he buried the shot from the corner for a Georgia win. That sucked to see in person.

John Williams threw it long

Cedric Henderson for the win.

1986 Elite Eight game against Kentucky that sent LSU to the Final Four. I can still see Ricky Blanton pumping his fist running back up the court after a crucial layup

The most intense and epic basketball game I've seen. It was like a different sport.
