I read a study that showed most of the California transplants are actually changing their voting ways when they moved east. It also highlighted that 20-30 year old Texans are the ones voting these policies. Probably from being brainwashed at colleges IN Texas. Crazy but might be something to it
don’t come in here ruining their boogeyman

There have been waves of the 6M conservatives that voted for Trump have fled California to Texas.

I am blown away that in three pages no one has caught on. The last sentence says it all.

Come on LA people, you know this scam better than anyone. Someone's brother in law or cousin is about to get rich. They will work on the "transition" for 10 or 15 years at a cost of millions of tax dollars until someone realizes it is in the budget and kills it long after the current elected officials are retired.

That's a good point, but still, it is unreasonable to expect people to not use gas-powered lawn equipment

I moved here in 2006 after Katrina & Dallas has slowly become the new Austin. The amount of West & East Coast liberal transplants who have moved here due to corporate relocations & your usual Totalitarian Karen’s have changed this place for the worst.

Lawn crews will be forced to add generators on their trailers and keep them running to charge batteries between jobs. Same noise, different device.

Electric lawn mowers aren't worth a shite. I tried one once and it stalled out when the grass wasn't even high. It could never manage a thick lawn after heavy rains prevented cutting for a few summer days.

Here's my issue with this. Local governments should be allowed to govern their people. They voted for this shite.

Let them stew in it.

Honest question: if they do this, how will commercial crews get the work done?

And I’m sure it will increase the price for the customer

Seems like an awesome idea till every single lawn care company stops providing service in Dallas.

You can’t have enough batteries on a grass cutting trailer to make that work. Even with solar panels to charge batteries, it would legit be impossible.

I guess, the companies can have a spare trailer just used to carry the battery packs for all the equipment
