Houston isn’t the greatest place to visit but it’s a pretty good place to live. There’s plenty of nice neighborhoods centrally located or several nice burbs if that’s your thing. The traffic is an overplayed talking point. It’s not that bad and I spend maybe 30 minutes a week sitting in traffic on average. Just be mindful where you work and live and it’s easy to avoid.

Dumb comment. He is literally asking you a question about the city because he doesn’t know.

Not bad for a city that a honkytonk was the pinnacle of it's cultural contribution:

Houston is so tightly integrated with energy markets that it is a massive crash waiting to happen.
Yeah, and as everyone knows, people are demanding less energy every day. Who needs energy anymore?
Oh well. Bye Houston!

Houston like any major city has its pluses and minuses, but overall, the positives outweigh anything else.
Spot on right here. Nobody is over here claiming Houston as the greatest city with the best scenery and all.
People simply think that Houston offers a lot for quality of life. It’s a good place to start a career and raise a family. Same goes for all of the other Texas cities. People try to compare them all as if there’s such a difference. DFW is very similar to Houston and SA. You do the same shite in each place.
Dipshits on here take it way out of context. Obviously Houston isn’t nicer than Breckinridge.

Actually its not. Does it have the same problems of every other city? Yes. But there are a lot of jobs there... Like real jobs, not shite like working at starbucks.

A suburb of Houston (Sugarland/Ft Bend County) has almost 900k residents. It takes almost 2 hours to drive from one side of Houston to the other, without BTR style blockages. There are plenty of places that are nice to live. And there are plenty of trailer parks very close to some of those nice places to live, or places where houses that cost more than $500k have five cars parked out front.
We re-elected Dora the Explorer, but at least there is business opportunity unlike in LA. You want Houston, or you want MSY or ATL? You need a job, bro.

Why are you bragging about knowing the ins and outs of Houston? It's sad that baton rouge folks think they have made it in life by finally moving less than 5 hours away from home.
