Auburn with a televangelist as HC seems like a good fit.

Cool. So Auburn can get only slightly better over the next 10 years.

If you’ve ever spent anytime around Dabo, you know he’s bammer to the core. You’d have a better chance of getting a glass of ice water in hell than seeing Dabo at Auburn.

He loses the lake if he goes to auburn.

Dabo gonna get washed when he has to play sec teams week in and week out. He has made his living beating jabronies like les miles and South Carolina. He wins when he can plan a month for a sec team, like when he spent all month getting ready for bama instead of ND.

Also he hates the transfer portal. I can’t see him working with auburns cut throat boosters, he is more of a aw shucks guy.

That’s why Freeze is perfect for Auburn. I think he would do really well there, so he’s the one I actually don’t want them to hire.

Normally I would say the fact that Clemson is stuck in the ACC another decade would potentially drive Dabo out. However, the structure of the new playoff is a game changer. As long as he feels like he can recruit a competitive roster, win the ACC and he gets a guaranteed top 4 seed. Go 10-2 even without a conference title and he's in the playoff. Both a conference title and 10-2 season are far easier in the ACC than at Auburn.

Be my guest! I do not get that one but the way both of LSU coordinators are doing so far in year one might give them a HC job or go to the NFL.

Apparently House came back to college because he wants to be a CFB HC. Denbrock has had some letdowns this year.

I think there are some conference issues and I think Clemson as a brand is somewhat tapped out in a way that Auburn could probably improve on somewhat (and yes, part of that is because have high profile rivals).

But I still haven't heard anything that makes much sense as to why Dabo might have his folks poke around. I think from a monetary perspective there would have to be considerably more than 11-12 being discussed for Dabo to show interest. Unless just the idea of Auburn paying Kiffin 10-11 signaled that we might approach 15 or some crazy number for Dabo.

Cool. I’m available. Went to the Arky-AU game a few weeks ago. A little confused as to why we turn down millions a year by not selling beer but I feel like I could do a decent job.
