This death is tragic, obviously.
What is your solution? Completely eliminating all parole?
How many additional prisons would need to be constructed to support the increased prison population? At what cost?

oh bullshite
there is lots of room in the deserts for tent prisons - build a stockade and stock it with guard dogs and sharoshooters - put the thuggiest ones in the worse conditions - let 'good behavior' allow them to advance to more civil accommodations.
YES - warehouse the bastards - if you are a thug, you get ZERO benefit of the doubt, you get ZERO amenities - you live like a fukcn animal that you are.
I am sick of hearing about good, productive, loving citizens being tormented and maimed and murdered by utter filth.
Enough is enough.
Remember - if it saves one life - it is worth it.

Yep, if it saves one life right?

Yet completely eliminating all guns is just fine?

As many as needed
At what cost?
A couple of months in Ukraine?

Speed up trials. Expand the death penalty to include repeat offenders. Streamline the appeals process - 6 months is beyond enough time.

Anyone previously convicted of armed robbery like this low life should not be freed from prison unless both his arms are amputated.
You guys want to bring Middle Eastern ideals to the West? Let’s do it starting here.

At what cost ? How about less people dying because of laxness of bail system. How about the thoughts of the innocent vs the criminals. I don’t care if a prison is to be built in every phucking city. There will always be criminals but a system with the least deterrents loses its civil orders

Let some of the Jan 6th political prisoners go to make room?

Nice strawman but I've not heard anyone advocate for this
A solution would be eliminating parole for ALL violent offenders, especially repeat violent offenders as they should be locked away for a minimum of 25 years
frick them

lazy dem logic here.
ok to spend trillions on everything from "assistance" to countries that openly want to hurt the west to research on mating habits of birds on cocaine.
i seem to recall a sheriff in Arizona that had tent jails. even pink uniforms. how about build some tent cities in the marsh. with no mosquito control? As was stated before, good behavior sends you to a better facility.
or maybe even, since the inmates must be treated well, how about online classes. and your grades dictate where you ride out your sentence?
I have no idea what the best idea may be. But those are a few ideas in 60 seconds.

Completely disingenuous question and not intended for serious consideration. Because you know that’s not how it works. It isn’t all or nothing, but instead should be done case by case.

If it saves 1 life....
Parole is one thing and if it is a violent crime I want them spending most of the sentence in prison and probably all of it, if it was up to me.
The worse thing is the no bail or light bail for those charged with violent crimes.

How many additional prisons
More population requires more prisons.
Even on a strictly linear basis this is indisputable.

Make prison somewhere that is so feared that a certain subculture doesn't view doing time as a badge of honor.
For violent criminals:
No air conditioning, no TV, no radio. Hard labor for 16 hours a day, 6 days a week, with a rest day on Sunday. This becomes their miserable daily routines until they die during their workday or their sentence expires and they've served their time. If they step out of line, they are shot on sight. They should not be treated like human beings because they do not act like human beings. Treat them like feral dogs.
That needs to be what prison life is really like. There shouldn't be enough free time for shite like gang wars to happen. At least make them contribute something to society while taxpayer dollars keep them alive.
Also, the manner of execution in death penalty cases should be left up to the victim's family, and nothing would be off limits. If they want to puss out and do the lethal injection, fine. If they want to do what Shelton did to Darby in Law Abiding Citizen, that's not only fine, but should be encouraged.

Excellent question.
But you mean we couldn’t keep an accused armed robber in jail on a high parole.
Now AH86 I’ve have an excellent question for you.
What was her life worth?

None.
Stack the fricking losers to the ceiling.
We worry too much about the feelings of criminals.
