It’s been almost three months since Chicago, and I still look down at my leg in disbelief,” Zack de la Rocha wrote in reference to the injury he sustained on the band’s reunion tour. “Two years of waiting through the pandemic, hoping we would have an opening to be a band again and continue the work we started 30 some odd years ago. Rehearsing, training, reconciling, working our way back to form. Then one and a half shows into it and my tendon tears.” Zack de la Rocha continued, “I have a sever tear in my left Achilles tendon and only 8% of my tendon was left intact. And even that portion was severely compromised. It’s not simply a question of being able to perform again, but extends to basic functionality going forward.” Find his full note below.

Sure it wasn't his vagina? I had no idea that the Achilles affected one's vocal cords. If only there was a way for one to still sing with a hurt leg

Just another example of what was lost during the idiotic lockdowns. Years that people will never get back. Putting everyone's life on pause doesn't mean time stops.

Commie Drama Queens says what? If you had sold enough tickets, you can sit on a stool and "sing".

Lost all respect for those losers.

They stopped Raging against the Machine years ago. They are Raging with the Machine now. I love Communists who charge $45 bucks for a shirt and $80 for a hoodie.
And I say this as someone who considers them to be the best single performance I have ever witnessed back in 1996 in New Orleans.

I saw them back in December ‘99 on The Battle for Los Angeles Tour. Top three show for me. Things have changed.

Cooper of Skillet’s description of them as “government rock” is perfect.

Their Lollapalooza ‘96 show at UNO Lakefront Arena was legendary. During “Freedom,” a fan ran on stage and tried to steal the America flag off a speaker. Security took this clown down. Zack watched this while in the middle of the song and promptly returned with “Anger is a GIFT!”
I was also pressed against the guard rail right in front center of the stage for the whole show. The crowd was a living, flowing beast. During that set, I busted my shin against the guard rail due to the force of this divine minion. I’ve been to hundreds of concerts, and this is one of the best shows I’ve seen!

I’ve been to a hundred shows over they years and this was the first and only time that I was scared in a pit. I didn’t think I could get out. Just a sea of surging people jumping to Bulls On Parade! Great memories…

Lollapalooza 1996 during Rage’s set was the last pit I was ever in. It was brutality.
