Well let’s prove them wrong. Let’s show up and show out.
Looking at the national schedule If LSU wins this weekend there is a chance gameday comes to Baton Rouge

Sucks for us, but it is what it is.
Auburn-Georgia; yeah, it should be a blowout, but Georgia's #1 and this is their biggest rivalry game.
A&M-Alabama; A&M won last year, and Jimbo has been talking shite to Saban all off-season.
LSU-Tennessee; Tennessee has sucked for a decade, and LSU the last 2 years.
Both teams need to earn national attention again. If things go well for us the next two games, LSU will be discussed a lot in both later games.

CBS gets the 1st and 3rd pick of games. ESPN gets the 2nd pick. So CBS didn't pass on this game twice. And the ESPN game they choose has to be at 11AM because contractually it can't be up against the CBS night game.
frick CBS.
I’ll be glad to be done with those clowns

Gameday will be in BR for this game. Will do the first half of the show around the PMAC and then they crew will be set up inside the stadium for Picks. Should be legit.

It'll likely be a ranked matchup.

I read that CBS gets the 1st and 3rd pick on their Doubleheader Saturday. Their 1st was Bama vs A&M for the 8:00 game. So ESPN got the 2nd pick. They took TN- LSU.
Not accurate. CBS gets top 2 picks on their doubleheader day.
ESPN picked 3rd with the 11:00 slot.

As a fan making my first trip to Death Valley I am very disappointed but when I look at it from a W/L perspective I am very happy.

I could easily see gameday coming and having Fowler and Herbstreit call the game.
Only problem I see with this is OU/UT is on ABC at 11AM. Does Herby usually call that game or does he leave after Gameday? College Gameday may be locked in to the cotton bowl if he is calling it.

They would probably select A&M/Bama for the same reasons CBS selected that game: Last year’s win by A&M and the offseason battle between Jimbo and Nick.

This is not accurate. Stop posting this nonsense.
CBS got the first 2 picks that day. ESPN got 3rd pick.

I hope Georgia beats Auburn 97-0 to make CBS regret picking that crap over this game. How stupid are the execs that make these decisions?

CBK is going to have our boys ready to play regardless of the time.

We played Florida last year at 11 A.M right? Feel like this is the best time to upset Tennessee

Imagine being a Tennessee fan and you haven’t been here in 12 years and you want to tailgate

I don't know how many times yall gotta be told AD's have little to no control over this. If you believe the paid sites LSU and the SEC fought hard for this not to be an 11AM game. The networks will do what they want.

Will depend on which game is bigger. Tennessee is #8. OU is 18. Neither LSU nor Texas is ranked. All depends on Mississippi St. beating A&M though.
