When’s the last time we had a running back that could put the team on their back? Davis-Price?
He plays like a robot, stiff, and awkward. Looks like he’s always about to fumble
The main 2 concerns for the QB targets are Chambliss eligibility and Leavitt injury. If Chambliss gets another year you take him, and if Leavitt injury will take most of the 2026 season to heal, you get Leavitt as a back-up role for 2026 and to take over for 2027.

We’d be set for the next 2 years with Houston taking over in 2028.
We have young talent already on the roster at DE

A lot of you are getting caught on this whole “coaching/coordinator” thing. The players still have to make tackles and execute. It’s not on him.

I do agree, I like him for depth

Basically says they’re interested and open to follow Lane to LSU. Obviously, we want Chambliss if he gets another year, but not a bad option to get him in of course.

Interview
A conflict of timing. He knows we’re getting a portal QB this year, and then Houston the next year. Someone won’t play and will have to transfer out.
He plays exactly like Jayden Daniels. He doesn’t have Daniel’s speed..but in terms of pocket, cuts, throwing motion, style of play..it’s damn near the same.
That record would look different without Chambliss.
But what I’m afraid of is LSU turning into Ole Miss in a LSU Tiger uniform. I get Lane is good..cool. But just because an athlete is committed to Ole Miss doesn’t mean they’re a fit for LSU. There haven’t been many significant recruits/players coming out at Ole Miss in the recent years.

We’re always in a recruits top 5. I hope we go get the best, not settle and keep it that way. I’ll say, we swung and went for the wrong “top” guys in the past. I’m hoping Lane can fix that part to it.

I’m sorry, but I’m meh on this guy. This looks to be a receiver playing terrible DB talent and won’t cut it once he arrives. Just my opinion.

Whack this thread please
No way Lane didn’t discuss his plans to go to LSU with these players including Chambliss. We’re going to be able to have it our way this offseason

He has filed a waiver for another year. With us pulling Lane and their OC, I would imagine he transfers to us with no drop off to stay in the same system
No bro. He’s too inaccurate. We don’t have time to experiment. I’ve seen enough
