We need at least 1 more RB that’s preferably a big workhorse type back to drive the rock and run down defenses. The OL will work itself out when the QB is announced.

Who’s left out there that you could see fitting in? Or any surprises you think we land? I think anything is possible at this point.
You could only imagine that we have a top QB coming in for him to come…we ridinggggg

Tbh. Outside of this past year..when has Kiffin really hit on players? If it wasn’t for Chambliss..nobody would be talking about Ole Miss

Ima go against the grain and take off my LSU sunglasses. This AINT IT. Plenty of better backs out there. I’m starting to worry we’re about to become Ole Miss and not LSU.

No we don’t lol. You need a running back that can put the team on their back. We usually have 3 of those at all times. Right now, we only have 1 still (regardless of commits). We need some proven backs.
This is what we need to complement Berry. A big back like this! Land him and get the O-Line together and we talking business. (Also QB of course). And 1 more receiver and I’m satisfied .
No one said we didn’t know bout him. I clearly said I think we should pursue hard for him. Damn some of yall can’t read
He’s only visited Virginia Tech. Highlights

Anyone have any info on anymore visits scheduled with QB’s in general?
You want a QB that threw 5 int’s..and got benched in games like Nuss. Hmm. Okay
What’s your opinion on what happens???
I hope we get the Hejny kid in a backup role and utilize him like a mild Taysom Hill
Indiana recruits the guys that don’t stand out with stats compared to other recruits. They recruit guys from the tough high schools that play actual competition. These guys are coachable and fundamentally sound.

When you have guys that are sticking out stats wise at the high school level, often times they are playing bad competition..and they end up not translating at the high D1 level *cough cough..LSU*. That’s been our mistake the past years.
I’m still thinking Leavitt will be our QB for 2027, Chambliss for 2026, Houston for 2028.
Jelani Watkins. I really want to see what this kid can do in CLK’s offense. You find a way to get that kind of speed the ball or utilize him. Hell..send him on 9 routes to tire out DB’s at minimum. ANYTHING
When’s the last time we had a running back that could put the team on their back? Davis-Price?
He plays like a robot, stiff, and awkward. Looks like he’s always about to fumble
The main 2 concerns for the QB targets are Chambliss eligibility and Leavitt injury. If Chambliss gets another year you take him, and if Leavitt injury will take most of the 2026 season to heal, you get Leavitt as a back-up role for 2026 and to take over for 2027.

We’d be set for the next 2 years with Houston taking over in 2028.
We have young talent already on the roster at DE
