frick right off with this shite. If you want to pay me more for me to do more than what we agreed to, great. If not, pound sand.

Who really wants to work? Honestly, I find you "work ethic" people to be somewhat odd.

I'd like to believe this, but what I see is a lot of is the "hungry" guy is hungry for the paycheck, but not being good at what he does. This new work force is all about the bare minimum

And that's fine. But when you don't want to stay an extra 15 minutes to finish up a project don't cry when you get canned for someone who is willing to do it. I've fired my own kid for being lazy. I will fire the dude that I don't know very very easily.

An occasional late day is not what "quite quitting" is about.

I'll stay 15 minutes over to finish a project, but I'll be leaving 15 minutes early on Friday.

College graduates who hate their job within 3-5 years of graduating almost certainly picked the wrong profession. Many don't want to admit it so instead they blame all their resentment on external factors.

Yep.
I had to work a Saturday a few weeks ago. Guess how didn't work the next Thursday?
*I don't work Fridays

You fire me for not staying late at work, I call that a win.
As I say, I don't care what happens. I'll do what's in my control. If you're going to fire me because I didn't go "above and beyond" I don't want to work for you. Will I starve? No. Will my family die? No.
I don't care how tight the labor market gets, I'll never beg to work for someone else. Job interviews -- 2 way street. Work -- 2 way street. I work, you pay me. You need me just as much as I need you. It's not "I'm lucky enough to have a paycheck, so I better work my arse off." I can fend for myself if I have to.

Is it really an extra 15 minutes, or is it an extra 2 hours and 15 minutes after you stopped that employee a half dozen times throughout the day to do tasks that aren't their responsibility, but you have nobody else to do them because you already let that person walk after you didn't give them a raise for 3 years?

Those people just don't want to do ANY work at all. Like somehow they are God's gift to the earth and should be given everything they think they deserve. But then bitch about billionaires having all of the money. But they don't want to adopt the mentality of a billionaire either. shite is hilarious.
