Oh, boy. Just what this thread needed…bitching about statistics.

I’m going to say this, if statistics back up what we know, why does it matter. Everybody wants to scream racism until statistics back up another claim.

Can we assume that if they have audio they have video too but aren’t releasing?

I think the audio may be from that triangulation system they have for identifying where gunfire is taking place. ShotTracker or ShotSpotter? But I'm not positive.

If it appeared as copper, that is exactly why it was stolen. The people that scrounge for copper are fanatical.

Shot ten times...that sure comes across as one angry human being - can't imagine this to have been random...bet they crossed paths in some manner

Or the perp was a young thug (13-16 years old) with no impulse control.

If they were underage they will get off easy. Hopefully a Dexter type is paying attention to this case.

It's past time for God-fearing, law-abiding citizens to take the same stance towards this criminal element and take society back to a place in time that's worth living in. RIP and prayers for this young lady's family.

This would be a hate crime.

Nope not yet. I guess chicken doesn’t want me to start it since there’s no way to ensure I’m not gonna just take the money and run. I don’t know if there’s any way to ensure that doesn’t happen with gofundme. Are there other options or ways to start the fund? I’m down to donate some $$$ and have zero reason to take anyone’s money. I don’t need it but CrimeStoppers does. Maybe I’ll reach out to CrimeStoppers and see if there’s a way for then to set up a fund that we can donate to instead. Does anyone have any other tips?

These are the same people that had a serial killer in custody but were too busy hunting down white guys.

its past time that people quit spending money supporting BR. Stop going to downtown, stop shopping in stores within BR city limits when possible. The only thing that gets the mayors attention is a drop in tax revenue. If there is an option outside of BR, use it.

Not just the city limits. You have to stop spending money anywhere in the entire parish because they still benefit from tax revenue from the parish.

I’m about to start treating EBR the same way I do with NOLA. Not a dime spent there.

Crime Stoppers

They have donations at different levels
Call & see if they will take donations for a specific case, people could donate on their own

That’s the issue. All the BR hating baws on TD love to hate on BR but then they spend heir money at restaurants, shops, LSU games, etc.

They hate BR until there’s some place they want to go in BR.

Not sure. Maybe a call into crime stoppers for more info? Definitely think this evil perp is a juvenile or late teen and will be bragging about this event to people in circle. Money will make someone come forward.

What is certain is we need to remove this threat from the streets before he/they can strike again.

That would be rather inconvenient considering that we live in the city limits

Wearing a hoodie past 8 pm in 90+ degree heat should be a crime.
