The large majority of the nation has student loans, mortgage, car notes, and credit card debt but not here!

Zero.

Unless you count the CC that I pay off each month.

Might be bout to buy a new car though (45k). I don't like parting with that much cash at one time if the interest rate is right.

Less than 50% of my liquid assets and a much smaller percentage if you go by net worth.

No mortgage, car and truck bought with cash. We have 1 CC that we use and payoff each month. Could retire, or at least work part time except for health insurance. At age 63 and 60, with some conditions, private HI is crazy expensive.

Mortgage. I am a simple guy. Much more happy having freedom and minimal stress than having lots of stuff (being single and no kids certainly helps)

You paid off the house that you just bought in the past couple of years?

BTW, why were you still making payments if you Paid it off in June like you claimed?

The only debt that I have is in my mortgage and a car loan. Both are low interest and worth more than what is owed on them, so I'm not very concerned with that debt.

A gigantic mortgage and about &9k in student loans at 1.875%. Needless to say I am dragging my feet to pay the student loan in one lump sum

No consumer debt.

About 1.8 million over 7 houses. 1 of those is a flip.

$0.00 outside of the credit card bills that get the balance paid in full at the end of each month (gas card, Fidelity card). Been debt free since 2017 and will never take out another mortgage. Credit score is 841 but don't plan on ever needing it. Would have stepped away at 51 next year but the markets this year have me thinking that I should wait until at least 53 now. FJB.
