Any chance we can get Mike back in the stadium before games now?

Sure. If we never want to have another Mike ever again.

It really is a shame that we don’t do this anymore, but it’s never going to come back.

Come on! I don't care for how far they take things at times but this doesn't have anything to do with PETA. If you have any love for animals then you would get it and I think the majority does. Let's force a big cat in a cage and parade him around in front of 100k screaming fans

Y'all need to let that go. It's not happening again. In order for LSU to be certified as a Tiger Sanctuary and to partner with other big cat programs to acquire future Mike's, there's conditions on animal treatment that have to be met. Putting him in a small trailer as a prop to parade around a noisy football stadium that stresses that cat isn't going to be agreeable.

Looks like PETA has groomed a lot of posters on here.

It was a great LSU tradition, needs to be brought back. The only stressful part was when they rattled his cage to make him roar.

Its a real thing. 30 years ago , Mike on the field was considered the best tradition in college sports and the Pita fruits got laughed at for suggesting we change it. But now we're all woke and consider ourselves smarter and more moral than all the people that came before us, so mike on the field is bad, but all the other societal ills are acceptable.

Downvote away you fruitcakes.

Most of us don't need to be "groomed" to be decent human beings.

You mean like numerous other colleges do? Sound proof glass so the crowd noise is not an issue, but a speaker so people can hear Mike.

I get that it might stress Mike out but what about those dogs they bring out and the Longhorn Steer? I know if my dog went out there he’d freak out and probably take a big shite on the field.
