My birthday! I was 5 years old lol
quote:

He played when guys would still stay out and drink all night before a game. Smoking in the locker rooms. Guys, like Jack Youngblood, played with broker legs. Those were the guys in my school years.

I remember Bobby Hebert telling the story of when Chuck Muncie played for the Saints. He was out all night drinking and doing coke. Not sure if he ever went to bed. He showed up at Saints training camp in Metairie with a muscle shirt on, cut off blue jean shorts and flip flops. Hank Stram told him he wanted him to run the 40. He ran it in flip flops and ran a 4.4
See I appreciated Hawthorn and thought overall he wasn’t as bad as people make him out to be. That’s just me though. I listened to him a lot on the radio back in the day while at work
Truly sad, you have no idea what you have missed but hey I understand. The younger generation will never understand it. Life goes on either way.

He didn’t get what he wanted this time, and there is no guarantee he will next time.

Will JC improve his stock??? Who knows.

This is what I am thinking as well. Who's to say he won't get drafted lower than what he just did? The kid has all the talent, but going to JUCO, he may be a name that teams just forget about come a year from now.

Going the JUCO route, going back in the draft next year or coming to LSU for 3 years. None of those scenarios guarantee him anything, other than coming to LSU right now will make him some serious money!
Yes sir, thanks for sharing. Short clip but awesome!

I am gonna keep my emotions in check until they prove it. This past year was a real kick in the nuts. I trust in JJ and we shall see! :geauxtigers:

Love hearing him speak with Hanny and Ott on the radio. Rest in peace coach!

I think the real question is how he didn't go to Southeastern when his dad and two uncles played there.

Valid point there!

Brody Trosclair was hurt that we didn’t offer him out of HS. HIs younger brother commenting all over twitter kinda looking foolish.

Brody would have never ever got an offer from LSU out of high school. For goodness sake he ended up at Northwestern State
Agreed, been a long time since I had this much interest for an upcoming season. It feels good again!
Just another of what was a huge disappointing transfer class

Schmidt was never projected that high. He’s also not a bust.

I wouldn't call him a bust either but he has been a slight disappointment.

Well that just closes the book for sure on this season. Not that it wouldn’t have been closed anyway

Comedy Channel?

Oh wait, never mind, I just found it!

Owen Trosclair has been on limited pitching this season, correct?

Yes until recently.

quote:

Not sure about that, honestly. Dudek and Trosclair have been their arms in the playoffs. CCA is throwing Pujol tonight. 4-0 in the 6th.

Pujol threw a hell of a game!
