If Nuss was the starter we would be drooling over Jayden as a backup.

Cause people were taking it the wrong way it was intended. I probably wasnt clear, but speed is not the #1 thing in football.

There is a reason they say "football speed".

When evaluating the tools that make a successful quarterback, max sprint speed is so far down the list it's practically immaterial.
ok, but faster is better than slower.

Yeah, see Joe Burrow. He wasn't a burner but yet was the greatest qb in the history of LSU football. Hmmmm, maybe that's a blueprint to follow, speed helps but is not in any way the tell all factor in being a great qb. I wonder how fast Tom Brady is?

I think being an accurate passer is more important than straight line speed

He could get a speeding ticket in a school zone!

I can’t believe how many so called tiger fans are hating on Jayden before he even takes his first official snap. If you look at his highlights he is way better than Jordan Jefferson ever was. Give the kid a chance.

No one in this thread has said a single negative thing about Daniels. Are you sure you're posting in the correct thread?

I am not comparing the two but RG3 had a gorgeous deep ball and could run pretty fast.
His Baylor years were special.

RPO is not read option. QB’s run on a regular basis in read option, not RPO.

What does that equate to in a forty time

It equates to 30.8 feet per second.

But max speed as a metric has limited utility even for positions that rely on speed more than QBs do. Because it's a moment in time snapshot at the very peak. Average sprint speed would be more telling.

Leonard Fournette was making headlines for hitting 22mph in games. That should tell you something

If real speed is not that relevant, why do NFL teams do so much work on timing the 40?
