That’s extremely impressive for a qb in a RPO spread system!! Under Denbrock and coach Kelly tutelage, kid have a chance to be extremely special this year IF he starts!!

When evaluating the tools that make a successful quarterback, max sprint speed is so far down the list it's practically immaterial.

Speed isn't #1 in football. Especially at QB. While impressive, no one believes Usain Bolt is Tom Brady.

Edit: Meaning....speed is important, but if you cant play the game does it really matter? How many track stars do we have to name?

Speed isn’t in the same galaxy of importance as accuracy and intelligence, but it’s still material, especially in college. This guy is an explosive athlete and will make highlight reel plays with his feet if given an opening.

He is very mobile, he has a good deep ball, if he can get down the short/intermediate passing game like some have said he’s doing then when we will be good.

We'll remind you of that when he's running away from McGlothern for 70 yard TD!

A QB with that ability will cause fits!! Go back to the Bama vs Florida game last year, that qb can’t throw a lick compared to Jaylen but yet they still should’ve beaten Bama.

True, but Jefferson was one of our more successful QBs versus Bama and he didn’t do it with his arm. :)

17 TD/2 INT as a true fresh
Led the conference in completion % last year.

I never insinuated that you did. To sum it up I stated with that type of ability under the tutelage of great coaching, he can be a weapon. Great coaching counts for fixing accuracy issues in case you didn’t think that far.

Max sprint speed, the point he gets tomaybe once a game ,if we're lucky, doesn't matter.

That's more important. How quickly he accelerates is more important than his absolute high. Change of direction is also more important.
