[quote]Are you aware of what "Recovery Crews" actually do and what they "see"? quote]
Obviously you don't know what they do and what they see. From FIL's mouth to my keyboard.
The recovery crew is responsible for tracking and monitoring the capsule from reentry into our atmosphere, descent and splashdown. They visually verify the capsule and it's chutes as it descends through our atmosphere. My father in law witnessed the descent of the capsule into the water, the opening of the hatch of the capsule, the astronauts changing suits, putting on oxygen masks and getting into the recovery raft They are then tasked with retrieving the capsule and crew and delivering them to the recovery ship to be placed in quarantine.

So according to you, they not only faked a moon landing but they faked six?

I remember telling two friends when I was completely plastered driving back from the bar that I was adopted.

I was never adopted. I have no idea why I told them that. It was never mentioned again.

Ran into one of the guys 12 years later and he asked if I ever found my birth parents.

There was a weird awkward silence.

One time a guy told me he was driving cross country and was in the middle of nowhere, very late at night, and was very tired. So he checked into the first motel he came across.
He said when he got in bed, he heard strange voices saying "When the log rolls over we will die"
He got up a couple times to see where they were coming from and finally.....
Well, I would finish the story, but it is pretty shitty.

A guy I know is a volunteer agent for the Dept of Natural Resources. Claims to have killed 5 people “in the line of duty”. Not a bad guy, but definitely a try-hard and he really wants people to think he’s a badass.

I knew an old guy who was pretty cray cray who told me that a U-2 spy plane crashed into a swamp south of New Orleans back in the 60’s and he knew exactly where the wreckage was. He wouldn’t say where though. He was pretty serious about it and the several times I heard him tell the story it never varied. He’s dead now so who knows?

I wouldn’t want to come back. Especially if I found myself in the 1950’s or something.

The story I was told was a flight in South America that my boss told me he was on. The plane crashed short of the runway in a jungle area and it broke in half right in front of him and the guy he was traveling with. He said a lot of people died, but they were able to walk out of it.

However, the guy with him got stung by a bee and died from anaphylaxis because his anti-venom medication that he always carried was in the belly of the plane in his luggage and he couldn't get to it. He said the guy died without getting even a scratch. Real or not?

I was taking an Accounting and Computer Technology course around 1979 and my instructor and I got into a discussion about some land over by the old Louis Prima Golf Course and what is now the Super Walmart on HWY. 190 in Covington. Anyway he went on to tell me how Walt Disney had years before bought some land in the New Orleans area and was specifically intending on building Disney World in that area until the politicians started with their shakedowns. Particularly Gov. McKeithen. So Disney pulled out and the rest is history. Apparently Disney loved New Orleans and it's food culture thus the French Quarter Square that was in Disneyland in California.

There is Club 33 (now closed apparently) in DisneyLand. A super exclusive restaurant Walt would use to host guests when they came to the park.

It's in the New Orleans themed part of the park and essentially looks like Arnaud's

I'm not a Disney freak but the thought of a secret restaurant like that has always intrigued me

Let's just start with more votes cast than there are registered voters. Just for beginners, I'd hate to confuse your dumb arse.

This is impossible, but I will play along. So how were they able to do this?

My wife was born and raised in Orange and San Bernardino Counties in Cali. She said her parents had eaten at Club 33 several times but that she herself had not. She did say that they had done a great job on that area of the park. Very detailed.

He didn't, probably about 30 million of those were "for" him, the other 51 million were cast against his opponent. Hell, swap out that "dementia patient" for a stalk of celery and it would have had the same outcome against old Combover Caligula

How would 51 million people vote “ against Trump”? Where were they in 2016. Why would they NOW be against Trump? Trump actually GAINED over 11 million new voters compared to 2016. There’s never been a situation where an incumbent picks up that many new voters and then loses. Where were these 51 million voters in 2016? You don’t gain that many new voters and lose! The math doesn’t add up. The votes were fake. It’s so obvious. Hardly anyone I know voted for Biden. Explain where the votes came from , if Trump picked up 11 million more than voted for him in 2016.

Here's one I heard years ago from someone I know (who told it as if he had personal knowledge of the incident).

In the 1980's, somewhere on the Natchez Trace in MS or AL, Cops were running radar and kept getting 140 mph, then 150mph, 160mph. Night after night. But they saw no car and thought it was a malfunction of their radar gun.

One night they got a high reading again, and this time heard the engine and figured out it really was a car. The sped up and were able to see a glimpse of it. It was a black Lamborghini running 150mph with its lights off. Lamborghini floored it and left them behind.

The story at the time was they were running cocaine. I guess they got "caught" eventually if this was the story.

As a kid I believed it, but as an adult the story doesn't make sense. If you were running drugs, the last thing you want to do is speed around at 150mph.

Now I know for a fact it's an urban legend because I have seen the story posted online numerous times. And people who post it all say they knew one of the Cops or the dispatcher or something. It's BS but a good story.
