I have a story that nobody here would believe that happened to me. I was a kid when it happened though

Stepdad and I went fishing with a guide years back. I was 10 or 11. He kept saying how the moon landing was fake because the flag had to be held up by a wire and if it was actually real the flag would wave.
After the trip my stepdad looked at me and could tell I was confused. All he said was don't you dare ask me a question as stupid as what that guy said.

I worked for a local Sheriff's office back in the 90's during the summer. One of the older deputies told me a story about a domestic case.
Units responded to a trailer house and when they rolled up guy came flying out with a pump shotgun and jumped in his truck and hauled arse. They had a road block setup a few miles away and got the guy stopped. Old guy deputy was in hot pursuit and pulled up behind said bad guy. Bad guy gets out of his truck and racks the shotgun.
Old man deputy starts getting out of his car and loses his balance and accidently fired a shot and hits the guys cowboy hat and knocks it off his head. Bad guy throws shotgun down throws hands up screaming I give up. Old man deputy told me that fricker thought I was a crack shot but he didn't realize how close I came to accidently blowing his head off.

My older cousin tried to convince me he knew a family that grew weed plants as tall/big as pine trees in Newton TX.
This was after a couple of joints and I hadn't seen him in years so I played it off as I believed him (after some follow-up questions of course)... it was a weird deal.

When that failed to take him out, Trump was impeached for a phone call with Ukraine President because Trump was curious about unresolved corruption within our government. (We're now in a war with Russia by giving Ukraine Billions of dollars)
anyways, Trump's phone call was considered abuse of power because Joe Biden was implicated
Last week, Joe Biden had the DOJ approve the FBI to raid Trump's personal residence because Trump is the greatest threat to our democracy.
This raid on a former President is not described as an abuse of power, but how justice works in the USA and we should all trust the FBI and our process
