It's highly probable she was already in shock and not feeling her pain at that point in time.
Victims with severe burns almost always go into shock once they reach a certain point------and I'd certainly not want to travel that road to get to that point.

Yeah, my thoughts too. She's got more than 80 credits between film and TV and at least a dozen or so nominations and a handful of wins for appearing in the above.
Must not have gotten much of an allowance when with Ellen........

maybe, but if it's your loved one that is the recipient of a desperately needed organ transplant, you gonna turn it down, citing the "optics" of the situation? c'mon man... you can think what you want about the woman, but the organs she donates will help another person live out their lives, hopefully in a meaningful way, after they receive them...

I was always under the impression that there were strict conditions to be met when a donor had drug dependency and usage issues which I’d assume would kick in since they’ve confirmed the presence of drugs in her blood.

It may not affect all organs. A friend died suddenly recently and, in addition to common organs, they took skin and eyes.
