They have to stoop to greater and greater lows because they've fundamentally lost the debate for abortion.
Why do you think they've used so many euphemisms over the years? Because most people think it's ugly.
"Women's healthcare", "women's reproductive rights", "women's right to choose", etc.
They can't actually discuss the act of abortion because it's barbaric and disgusting.

The mantra of safe, legal and rare was always a canard. Abortion was always mostly a way to avoid inconvenience. I cannot speak for Hammill, but I see it this way.
It is wonderful that some couples want to adopt. Multi-kudos to them.
My problem is not with those willing to adopt a child that a woman is willing to carry to term. My problem is with those who want to limit her to ONLY the option of carrying to term and offering for adoption.
There is a difference, even if there is some overlap.

Many of them believe the world is overpopulated.
Also if they keep mocking them they can push the "narrative" that pro-life people are only "pro-birth" and don't care about the baby afterwards (e.g. "you don't support universal single payer healthcare, so you really don't care about the baby".
