It ruins their argument. Because sincere and loving Christian parents living their beliefs is the worst thing in the world when your goal is to kill babies.

Got it. I'll remember. And I just corrected someone on a different post correcting from "on mass" to en masse. I get things correct most but not all the time.

I'm sure things will end up about right for you. But you have to admit the fervor for abortion is a little sick. It's one thing to reason through being pro choice as I was many years ago to being fervently pro abortion to the current time where celebrities use their abortions as a badge of honor.

This is the reason that 70% of the populace supports abortion rights of “some sort,” but only a percent or two supports late 3td-trimester abortion.
Honestly, I suspect that even most of those people are simply afraid of the slippery slope, if they give even one inch of ground to the abortion absolutists.
I actually think that is a lot of the problem that makes this issue so divisive. Neither side trusts the other, whatsoever. Everyone is terrified that the other side will not honor any compromise which is reached.
Why would anyone give ground and compromise, if they are 100% certain that the other side is eventually going to renege and that the compromised position will be the new baseline?

I’ll be damned. Not that I agree with you 100% but that you actually formed a whole post without sounding like a condescending douche. Apparently you can be somewhat less stuck up your own a-hole from time to time. Credit where due.

SB, I appreciate that.
He was polite to me, so I was polite to him. That is always my policy.
You and I can start with a clean slate today, if you like. If you hurl no pejoratives at me, I assure you that I will hurl none at you.
I prefer a civil discussion, but I roll over and show my belly to no one.
BTW, that offer is open to everyone, even JJDoc and Ooga.

When does that happen?

When does that happen?
Personally, the key for me is “higher brain function“ (the precursor to sapience). That seems to develop at about 25 weeks. To be safe, I am willing to back off significantly from that date… Certainly to 20 weeks, probably to 16 and perhaps even to 12 if the other side offers something worthwhile in return.
To me, the important issue is giving the woman an opportunity to protect her own rights, and doing so BEFORE the fetus develops higher brain function.

These people are sick in the head. The government is doing a number on people. Mental illness has never been close to this bad before. You should know

Yeah it would suck to have an opinion on whether she should kill her dog or you.

No, we actually don't. Different states can draw different lines, just like they do with a host of other rights, some of which have a helluva lot more constitutional merit than abortion.
