The pro abortion crowd asked for this. Mississippi wanted to restrict abortions after 15 or 16 weeks, I forget the exact timeline. The abortion clinics sued and got RvW overturned. It was a really dumb lawsuit, without it the anti abortion crowd would have never been able to accomplish this.

How is it when a drunk driver hits a pregnant woman, hurting her & killing her unborn child, he is convicted of murder? When a woman does it herself, is it not the same?

What exactly do you consider extreme?

The majority of Americans do not support Abortion for birth control use by lazy arse women who don't, or won't, practice safe sex.

That singular issue there covers well over 98-99% of all cases. Another human being growing inside of a woman is not HER body. It's the body of a separate human being.

In Southern states, Abortions under this pre-text will be 100% illegal and majority approved.

The only difficult thing that has occurred is that Self-Responsibility got forced on some folks who've never had to follow that rule.

Even in deep red states, most people believe abortion should be “generally” legal for the first trimester.

Please provide the poll for deep red states, Louisiana in particular.

I believe Louisiana’s law is outside of the will of the people, and therefore outside of the federalist construct of our Nation.

Well, so is delaying the creation of St. George, since that was legally voted on and passed. Yet here we are, 2 years and BR culture is doing what it does.

If that’s the will of the people of Louisiana then they can get it done.

Do you let polls determine what you believe is right? If use pills to determine morality, then you are always waiting to see what the majority thinks before you make a decision. Right is right whether 1% or 100% agrees with it. The same is true if something is wrong. If 99% thinks murder is ok, that doesn’t make the 1% wrong for believing that it’s not.

Now show the “poll” for just people in Louisiana since this is a state issue not a national issue…….

Do you want to know why we are where we are with abortion?

LINK

The thought of killing a fully developed child the day of his/her birth is appalling.

That abortion/Planned Parenthood is federally funded is ridiculous.

7500 abortions in Louisiana last year and I'd bet over 99% were out of convenience. If not for the horrific selling of baby parts by planned parenthood, and no limitations, this would have been a backburner issue.

As usual, the left pushes and pushes their agenda in your face until it's too far.

This whole trans BS with who what is a man or woman crap is next on the block. I don't care WTF you do on your own time, but all the in your face, demanding mainstream acceptance, is not going to work out like they think.

You seem to not present the will of Louisianans but a national poll without even providing the polls data..

Can’t I just as easily take the opposing position? It is the will of the people? Man… this is easy…

How limited? Because Roe didn't support any real limits.

Country poll is irrelevant to the state of Louisiana.

If the representatives of the state vote to ban it, it stands. A subsequent legislature can bring it back.

California’s feelings in the matter are not relevant, regardless of what they think.
