Because they had a murders row in their first five games?
Warriors, Clippers, nuggets, blazers, timberwolves
looks the same to you as
pacers, pistons, kings, spurs, spurs, spurs?
Everything is relative. November is easier than October for the lakers.

The spurs are 4-2 lol. Not sure why you’re using them to support your argument that their upcoming schedule is super easy.
They also have Utah twice, PHX, Cleveland, and Portland
There’s absolutely no way they go 10-4.
Are you high? Drunk? Both?

Going 10-4 would level their record and it is possible

That’s a very easy stretch and if they stay healthy in November they should be able to win 8-10 games.
Have you been watching them?
They are a glorified G-League squad.

I’m on record saying they may not even win 25. It’s an awful team. They went 0-4 with a fully healthy squad. Imagine when they don’t have lebron and AD for several games because it’s happening. They will get blown the frick out. 30 is the ceiling for this team and I’m not sure what the floor is but I’m not sure where 25 is coming from with that abomination of a roster.

Their November schedule provides hope. In November they play the kings, nets, pacers, pistons, blazers, spurs x3, Jazz x2, pelicans, cavs, clippers, suns.

Of those 14 games, I expect the Lakers to go somewhere between 3-11 and 5-9. That team's just not good man. a kind of shocking stat I saw

The Lakers are scoring 96 points per 100 possessions… The last team that averaged under 100 points per 100 possessions was the 2015-2016 76ers. They started the season 1-30.
I'm not predicting 1-30 but look at what they did all last year. Look at what they're doing this year. It's Kobe Bryant retirement year redux except it's Lebron passing Kareem instead of retiring. The team overall sucks and isn't going anywhere and really doesn't have much of an avenue to improve due to lack of assets.

Don't they sort of have to trade Westbrook? If they let him expire, they really can't use most of that space. So it doesn't benefit them that much.
Looking at their payroll, they only have a few players under contract for next season. They would have around 40M to sign almost 10 players. You aren't getting anything decent with that..

Yes they do.
But the more they keep losing like this, the more likely they'll get trade raped. If that's the case you need to start wondering if mortgaging is a Orth it or not. Resetting isn't the worst idea

They think that they have a deal with Kyrie to sign for $35 million.

The two teams comparable to their offensive output so far are 2012 Charlotte and 2015 Philly.
2012 Charlotte was 7-59.
2015 Philly was 10-72.
Given their defensive numbers look good, they may not be as bad as either of these two teams but it looks like their floor may be about 10 wins.

They also won’t actively tank like those two likely were.
Posted on 10/29/22 at 9:15 am to MrJimBeam
No, they are just going to suck through really bad decisions coming to bite them in the arse.
As of now, they only have about two players who would start on a lot of teams and a lot of their other players MIGHT be deep bench for everyone else.
They have little talent to work with because of years of bad decisions catching up with them between the cost of the AD trade and misplaying their remaining assets due to the limits imposed by the picks sent out for that.

Supposedly AD is dealing with mental health issues.
I suppose I should try to sympathize, but, somehow, I just can't seem to feel very sorry for him. I wonder why that is.

many here said be careful what you wish for. He cannot handle either carrying a team or the inevitable backlash when he can’t. Worst possible situation for him now
