The Lakers are in a hole they can’t dig themselves out of. They can’t shoot, and no help is on the way. Keeping the team as is means a season with a player in the GOAT conversation is being wasted with not many years left. Making a change could make you just good enough to be in the middle and ruin your future for years to come. The Lakers are stuck between a rock and hard place with no hope on the horizon.

There's no way they trade those first round picks.

I think they see the writing on the wall and don’t trade for this season. It’s a lost cause of a team with a bad culture. I’d be shocked if they are bottom 8 in the league by the end of the year. Just wait until Bron also sits out.

Anyone think they'll keep russ and trade AD?
Honestly, may not be a bad idea for them.

Darvin Ham says he will take a close look at playing LeBron at the 5 more in the future.

Probably the best way to get something of value but I’m not sure how teams view AD right now and what his worth is.

Sacramento is such arse. I think the lakers are better than that trash team

I'm sure that would have stopped Gobert from getting 21 rebounds tonight.

I haven’t watched the kings play yet but it’s hard to think with their roster they are worse.

He will come back and just post a popcorn emoticon and say he doesn’t care about what we think while responding

CP would be out the next 4 games with that hit in the face if he was still in NOLA

Their November schedule provides hope. In November they play the kings, nets, pacers, pistons, blazers, spurs x3, Jazz x2, pelicans, cavs, clippers, suns.
That’s a very easy stretch and if they stay healthy in November they should be able to win 8-10 games. Going 10-4 would level their record and it is possible. If they are still at the bottom of the standings after November we really are getting Victor.

Because they had a murders row in their first five games?

Be careful out there, everyone. I had 2 Lakers tickets in my car and someone broke in and left 4 more.

From Skip Bayless:

I have never, ever seen a basketball player display so little shame or regret for horrendous turnovers as Russell Westbrook does. Even coming off the bench, he led the Lakers with 5 sadly comical turnovers. Didn't seem to bother him a bit.

If Rob Pelinka don’t do something soon the Lakers won’t even win 25 games this season with this Roster that they have. Jesus Christ!
