Rodan, Remington, and this.

Will the Louvre borrow it soon?

Put it near the Mona Lisa.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings," substituting shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. " Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

The question remains: "Will she pay her back taxes with the massive bag of cash left over after they paid the $72K for the giant hair pick?"

Welcoming & all inclusive doesn’t begin to describe it.

Ah, the “subtle” dichotomy of what makes the foundation of western civilization great against the intentional, methodical destruction and division of American society.

So we have black power art in New Orleans paid for by taxpayers?

Seems reasonable and a very New Orleans thing to do, which is why the entire place sucks donkey dicks.

Tourism grinding to a halt in one of America's most dangerous cities.

Someone posted an Amazon item that was basically the same thing.

Black fist Afro pick. Almost identical.

Real original art.

So black people found the confederate statues to be racist so they came down. So as white people find this to be racist does that mean…oh, yeah, there’s that old double standard again…sorry.

Your lack of introspection is embarrassing. How do you think black citizens felt when white racists, who lost the war for slavery, commemorated those who tried to keep black people in chains? They did so because they had a majority.

Now, black people have a majority, so they are tearing down the statues they find offensive, and are erecting sculptures that commemorate their culture. That is NOT a double standard; it is the same standard our ancestors had when they erected statues of slavers.

Both are offensive.

There is a significant difference but you're to stupid to see. One group actually improved the city. The later is tearing it down.

I heard Atlanta is doing a giant menthol cigarette statue and Memphis is doing a black nylon do-rag

So you agree with a previous poster that it somewhat resembles prison bars?

That is the true nature of the present culture.

What will archeologist think when they uncover this find 1000 years from now. That’s my only question.

That's art these days. A huge afro pick that has a communist power fist on the handle.
