I think Kuzma is kinda underrated at this point. He's a pretty good player and people just hate him.
He'd probably be ok with being back in Cali and in the Bay area (adjacent).
Kuzma, Deni, and say Agbaji or Sochan makes the Kings a lot better, pretty quickly.

He's not the centerpiece. Avdija is looking like he's developing pretty well, especially defensively, and you still have the 10th pick.
For a team that is looking to get better right away, its a good trade. It addresses their needs pretty well.

Hoping for Mathurin or Daniels as most. I agree that I would prefer Sharpe be selected before 8 so that Griff does not make a trade down that we could regret later.

I'd be fine with a trade down. I'm more worried about Griff taking Sharpe...I just think its too big of a risk now, the more I look into it.

Jake said the Pelicans had set workouts with Sharpe and Sochan. All signs pointed to some time this week. But long story short, info is hard to come by and these two comments are not necessarily conflicting. Just have to see if we hear of an actual visit.

So, David Fisher posted an interesting mock trade I like
Hayes + 8 for 13 and 15
He opts to take Mark Williams and Ochai Agbaji in those spots
I wouldn't take Williams but I like Agbaji.
