Screw a sequel, they should have the stones to completely remake season 8.
Would be one of the most cheered decisions in media history and would bring in a gazillion new subs for HBO.

Starts with Jon waking up on the boat with Danny on the way to Winterfell at the end of season 7.

It would be pretty exciting to see him guarding a wall that doesn't exist against an enemy that no longer exists. He could even rebuild Craster's Keep to start his own incest family, since things didn't work out with his aunt.

I’ll take it. Maybe someone can do something to make amends with how terribly they treated his character.

I genuinely have never seen a show or property of that caliber and that much success go from such universal success to such universal disdain so rapidly.
There should honestly be books written and classes taught on how to kill an entire global audience so quickly...
Btw, this show will never materialize once HBO sees the mindnumbingly low ratings that their Targereon show gets... They might as well have taken $100M and lit it on fire.

Ooh. We've seen how he does this. Cersei and Danys will stop fighting when they learn both were fathered by Aerys.
The ole "Martha" reveal.

Well they really never addressed the fricking Castle way north beyond the wall that remains unoccupied or so we think.

Quick synopsis of how it should go....
Jon realizes freezing his balls off in the wilderness actually sucks, gathers his wildlings and some men of the North on his way down to murder Tyrion for being a bitch and sending him away. Wheels his boring arse brother away from trees and assumes the throne.

Why would I waste one second on anything to do with GOT or Jon Snow after that last season? They butchered the whole thing. No thanks.

I have no idea why that show was greenlit as the first sequel/prequel When watching the show, I had zero desire to see more of them. Hell, I’d rather see a Khal Drogo backstory.

If I were doing it, here's the teaser (not that I think it's a good idea):
Start with a tour of the six plus one kingdoms. Assume the Bran as king thing has not worked out quite as planned because he is so disinterested, and that they have reverted more or less to loosely aligned separate kingdoms.
Show Dorne being Dorne, the kid in the Vale, Edmure at Riverrun.
Tyrion is in Casterly Rock and has spent several years rebuilding House Lannister into a commercial/trading power since they have no gold mines of their own.
Gendry is shown working a forge, but then a maester comes in and calls him Lord Gendry.
Bronn is in Highgarden, with a few kids, making sure they turn into noble types.
Sansa in Winterfell.
Then you jump over to Slaver's Bay, and show a bunch of masters talking to each other and to someone off screen. The seven kingdoms are weak, years of war, etc. Basically, let's go take it. Spin the camera around, and Daario agrees, because they are weak, divided, they did kill his queen, and there's no one to stop them.
Jump to beyond the wall. Show John living a somewhat normal life. Fade to black, then fade back in to a banner with a white stark wolf sigil laid over the Targaryen dragon.
This is what would happen if someone like Bernard Cornwell had control of the series.

They’ll just turn him into a tranny and make a woman the hero

Kitt will be glad to get a paycheck again
The GOT and the Pompeii money have probably run out

They're bringing him back to further emasculate his character from what it was at the end of GOT. Then there will be a transgender woman of color to lead the show.
