Had a class or two with Joel Guy at LSU. He killed his parents dubbed “house of horror”.

Polly took dance classes with me at a dance school in Metairie. Her boyfriend at the time, John, used to sit there and watch us all dance.

Yikes

Around May of 2021 I went on a double date with some friends at the melting pot. The girl my friend brought was an attractive brunette. She was a nurse. We had several mutual friends. We all had great conversation and spent most of the night drinking, laughing and cutting up. The following week I left to take a job out of town. About 3 months later, I’m reading TheAdvocate online and see the brunettes face on the front page. It was Gina Green and she was just murdered by Derrick Todd Lee.

Neighbor got fired as a pilot in 70s; left and moved Into bocage with helicopter pad in yard. Looking back he had half the teens in area on payroll. Tom Cruise played him in a movie.

He was a "friend" of my step-dad and came by our house a few times while I was growing up (Fat Daddy, not Tom Cruise). It was shocking how much Cruise resembled him

The Texas Killing Fields is a 25-acre patch of land in League City, Texas situated a mile from Interstate Highway 45 and approximately 26 miles southeast of Houston. Since the early 1970s, 30 bodies of murder victims have been found within the Killing Fields area.

Cool…. I work right there…

I knew a hotshot banker who walked in on his wife screwing some golf pro. The very next day the wife and golf pro turned up dead.

They sentenced that dude to two life sentences in whatever the Maine equivalent of Angola is, but he never admitted to doing the crime. This is where the story gets crazy unbelievable.

Years later, this package shows up at the Portland, Maine equivalent of The Advocate. It was a whole exposé of corruption, abuse and murder at the hands of the head prison guard and the warden. That banker had escaped and knew all about the corruption because he had been doing their taxes for years! Plus, he had enough info in that exposé to exonerate himself and implicate the actual murder who was already jailed in another prison for another crime.

Of course, the State never truly exonerated him because y’know, politics.

Nobody knows where he escaped to, but the general consensus is that he lives on the Pacific Coast of Mexico somewhere.

Amazing Story

I grew up next door to Paula Guillary, a key figure in the Jeff Davis 8 story. She ended up adopting a few of the murdered girls’ children and they would come over to our house and jump on the trampoline. Paula divorced Warden guillary, who was another key figure, but I played nerf with his boys growing up.

I grew up in the same neighborhood with Marty LaBoeuf, one of the victims who were executed in the KK’s Corner gas station in LC back in the nineties. I wasn’t really friends with him, but went to all the same schools and new him well enough.

The sheriffs son was rumored to have done it or at least ordered it done, most likely over drugs…. it grew into such a big rumor that the sheriff held a press conference to say his son wasn’t implicated. The artist rendering a witness gave sure looked like him. Plus he was a crazy a-hole.

A kid in my neighborhood killed his younger brother when he was a freshman and the brother was in 5th or 6th grade. Sliced his throat in the kitchen for no reason. Circa 1977.

I worked with a black dude who always told me that him and I should go find a girl, and tag team her. I always laughed it off as a joke, and declined.

Aboot 2 months after he started this, he was arrested for grabbing a young woman and trying to force her into his truck. It was somewhere south of downtown, in the bottom.

In Hammond, August of 2000, 2 guys walked into my step brothers house and shot him with shotguns as he was napping on his couch.

The neighbor heard the shots and saw the 2 guys running from the house and called the police with the license plate number. Both were caught in Virginia.

Think you meant 2001?

DTL worked at my company, way before my time there though. People who were around at the time say he was just a normal kinda dude at work.

There is an ex wife of a LC doctor (mother of their children) who shot her boyfriend in the face recently. He survived.

Yeah this one is crazy as hell. I know this lady. She is a photographer and has taken many of our family pictures over the years. Sweet girl, or so I thought.

So her ex-husband cheated on her and they wound up divorcing. They have 3 kids together. Ex-Husbands dad is a judge in town (this is important later).

I know a handful of people in the DA's office and this is somewhat of went down:

One night the boyfriend is over at her house and fell asleep. She is obviously paranoid about being cheated on and went through the boyfriends phone. I don't know what all she saw but I do know she saw some snapchat messages from another woman. No idea what they said or anything like that but it appeared to be just enough to piss her off. She wakes dude up with a gun in her hand and tells him "I guess you can blame my ex husband for this" and shoots buddy right in the face in front of the kids. She immediately grabs all the kids and brings them to her mom's house. The oldest one, I think 14, said she is not leaving him. When they left, the older kid called the cops.

When she dropped her other kids off at her mom's house she allegedly told her mom "I'm about to go to jail" and left. Gets back home admits to it and goes to jail. She was out that day or the next. I can't remember exactly.

But yeah that shite was WILD!
