Yes he was trying to kidnap her became he thought she belonged to him. Possession is 90 percent of ownership, right?

I grew up in a small town. Really small. 180 people in the last census and wasn’t 300 when I was a kid.

I had a friend whose dad was the President of a small bank in the next town. They lived in a nice house north of town. He had a Nintendo with the robot. He had a pool in the backyard.

The bank president hired someone to kill his wife. The guy chickened out and informed the authorities. The FBI came in and set up a sting and nailed him.

I personally know Mike Wade. He used to drive hot shot for me and has been to my house numerous times… I always thought he was a cool dude and was a huge LSU fan. Yet out of nowhere I find that he killed three
People in cold blood that the police said was a crime of rage… I just don’t get it. This dude had a fine wife and had a nice house in shannondoah.

Plus she left behind 14- and 12-year-old boys.

P is undefeated.

Yep sho was. I was a few years under the looney tune. He was a wanna be cop but couldn't pass the psyche eval. His ex was lucky that day. He had her cuffed to the column on her home, and those cops showing up saved her arse. Granted, he lit them the f up. Off duty rolled up in his boxers and piece and came up on his blind side. Wild story.

I met Nicolae Ceausescu in Bucharest, Romania - 1973. Had no idea what that evil bastard was doing there.

High school classmate hijacked a commercial airline.

Co-worker's brother was a serial killer - we jokingly referred to this person as the Kudzu Killer while he was on the loose.

I grew up in New Orleans East in the early 80s. One of my friends lived 2 streets over, and this kid had everything a kid could want. They lived in a normal house, but this kid lived large.

Then one day about 20 cop cars and the FBI show up. They filled the street with cars, blocked everything off, and slapped the cuffs on everyone in the family. The FBI started tearing out the sheet rock in their house, and found the millions of dollars hidden in the walls. Apparently the parents had been part of an armored car robbery near Memphis.

Good times.

The entire Mickey Schunick story fascinates me. Someone should write a book honoring her.

Yeah it still hits home here. There's a bike trail in her honor and there are white painted bikes as markers around town, which is nice because we'll never be able to forget her.

Her older sister could write that book all day

In 2004 I was a manager at Hooters in Dayton Yep. I was messing around with this girl. We hung out, all good. She always seemed weird, but I just figured eccentric.

Fast forward 2020-2021 and I'm watching a show about Jeffery Epstein with the SO, and hole.e.shite I stand up and tell the wife that is Teresa Helm.

She is on an ABC doc or whatever channel it clearly says Teresa Helm from Dayton, OH. Talking about abuse from Jeffery Epstein while she was trying to be a massage therapist or something.

My SIL also dated a guy who beat a bum's arse and lit him on fire. He's in jail for life in Chicago. He was a rich fricking dude who just thought he could do whatever and not get in trouble.

Beer I know who u are talking about. Went to school with him as well. His dad was messed up too. They denied him entry into police. He got a Ford Ltd police edition and outfitted like a undercover cop cat. He was arrested twice for pulling people over impersonating a cop. Then when he and that girl got together he settled down for a but but she eventually tried to break up. That set him off and he tried to kidnap her. Her mom called them cops that he shot as they drove up. Kid was absolutely batahit crazy. All the signs were there but nothing was ever really done before it was too late.

This happened when I was young, I don't know what year, but I might have been 1 or 2 years old.. Anyway, the only reason I know about it is from hearing people talk about it over the years.

This guy in my town killed this guy, who was Italian and believed to have some type of mob connections (not sure how true, but everyone I heard talk about it says this). All the evidence pointed to him and everyone was sure he would get convicted, however; he was found innocent. The day he was found innocent was the last day he was seen alive. He goes missing and I am not sure how long after he went missing he was found, but his body was found down the Mississippi River. He had two bullet holes.

I am not sure if its a theory or fact, but it is said that someone connected to the person he killed made a deal with the judge to find him innocent so they could get their own justice.

I know its not someone I know, but I always thought that was in interesting story.

I just remembered one that should have come to mind first.

When I was in college the office I worked in, it was just me and the building inspector. Since I was part time we needed someone else so we got a student worker assigned to our office.

Black kid, good dude. His dad was a deacon in the Catholic church, he went to Catholic school. His parents, who had a daughter older than him, made sure both didn't get caught up in the wrong crowd. He started with us the summer before he started college and my boss requested he stay on and he was hired after the summer program.

One day he came into work with a bandage on his neck and skinned up hands. He said he fell off of his dirt bike. A few months later he came in scratched up again and said it was another dirt bike accident. A few weeks after that I get to work and my boss tells me the kid shot and killed someone late the night before. He was getting jumped. He would hang around his cousin who was selling and had beef with this group that lived close to the guy who worked with us.

They were jumping him because of shite his cousin was doing. He had a gun inside, the last time he had enough, went get his gun and shot one of them. He had a half filled application for a gun in his desk. If he would have had the gun one him and shoot when it happened it would have been self defense, but because he went inside and came back out, at the age of 18 he got life with no parole and is in angola for the rest of his life.

Dad was a cop at some point. He got the boot due to being crazy, then son couldn't pass psyche evals to get in. His dad sliced up the ex wife's horse and new boyfriend's horse a few years before his son killed the cops. Had to put at least two horses down.
He tried to pull over a buddy and his brother in his little maroon Mazda once, but they recognized who it was and sent them the bird, pun intended. He was the stereotypical nerd who saw power in being 5-0, and he would have abused the shite out of it had he got past the tests.

Used to see a broad whose fiancé murdered his mother for insurance money.

I knew she was a golddigger but found out about the murder after being with her for a while.
