Which Airline is your favorite and why?

I'm a loyal Delta customer as I've honestly had very little issues, the worst was a flight out of Los Angeles was delayed 5 hours but that is it. I'm a sky miles member and Eben have the AMEX credit card allowing me a free checked bag plus the companion pass.
I have a United, Spirit, and Southwest membership but after flying so much I just prefer Delta and settled on them

Southwest, but it’s gets tougher every time I fly.

I just flew JetBlue for the first time a couple weeks ago and overall was a great experience. Might be my new favorite.

I fly Delta, United, Southwest and American. I haven’t have big issues with any of them. I’m usually looking for best route and price.

Favorite- Delta. Usually professional staff, on time flights or if you're delayed you can rebook via the app, decent legroom, and the 20 minute baggage guarantee means my bags are circling at baggage claim by the time I walk up
Flew American recently and no issues
Flew Southwest recently and had one flight arrive early, one flight that was supposed to be on time leave a half hr late.
At this point, if I'm not on delta, I'm looking for the cheapest ticket between A and B that allows a carry-on and a good seat

I am team United for the most part...but fly all 3 on occasion.
United mainly as they have the most options to places I go most such as Chicago and some international routes. Plus I am probably about a year to 18 months from a million miles on them. So, I will continue just to get that mark.
Back in the day, used to fly Northwest a lot and loved them.
International and overall, when money is not an issue, Singapore Airlines. Just tremendous service and great amenities.

I’ve flown Southwest, American, United, and Aeromexico. Never flown Delta so I can’t comment on them. Southwest has been my favorite because I don’t like bag fees. Traveling with 3 females those fees can really add up!

My favorite was Continental before they became United. I go to Belize a lot and I could fly out of Monroe and be there in under 4 hrs. Customer service was excellent. Now with United, the service isn’t the same. Starting this year, they discontinued service to Monroe so it’s either Delta or American. So basically l pick whichever one has the better flight option. If I’m flying out west it’s American. Don’t want to fly to Atlanta and then fly back across the country

Alaska used to be my favorite but they seem to have completely fallen apart during covid. Virgin used to be awesome.
The mainline carriers are all pretty horrible. Delta probably the least bad generally, but United has had the fewest operational issues over the last couple years.

I prefer Alaska. It’s a good airline and their largest hub is my local airport, so plenty of direct flights across the country.

I’ve had the worst experiences with American as far as delays and cancels. Delta is the best for me, haven’t flown the others.

Delta. Cathay Pacific overseas. Fly with them and it’s easy to understand.

Good topic. I’ve been loyal to Southwest bc my wife racked up a ton of points, companion pass, all that. But that has come to an end.
We looking for a new airline now. Our jobs allow us to rack up expensed flights and earn rewards. United at the top of our list so we can fly international on the cheap and get upgrades.
Any suggestions? Does Delta have wide international base?

I've flown all the domestics and yeah, Delta is probably the best for me.
I flew Virgin Atlantic for the first time recently and actually really enjoyed that experience.

Used to be Delta until they closed the DFW base. Been Southwest ever since. I can determine which part of the plane I sit; they get me where I am going safely (Delta did that also); I like Love Field better than DFW; employees are much more friendly; bags fly free.

I think most semi-objective people would say Delta, but perhaps by plurality (I'm not unbiased as I'm in Atlanta and we almost exclusively fly Delta).
What's your home airport? I would think that would heavily influence it. The Delta/AF/KLM/Virgin partnership will give you pretty good coverage.

The biggest airport near me is Nashville (BNA). Southwest dominates that airport with 59% of flights. I like the early bird check-in you can add for $20 to get earlier boarding time. 2 free checked bags
Delta has more entertainment options. However, they don’t have nonstop flights to various places (i.e. Las Vegas) and you have to catch a connecting flight from SLC, ATL, MSP. I know LaGuardia just opened a massive new Delta Hub.
I would love to fly out Barkley Regional (PAH), but they only use United express and everything is sent to Chicago first.

I live in Houston. And I already have United Silver due to my Marriott status. So by default, I’m starting there.
Just booked a United flight to London for the Saints game. By chance, it was the cheapest flight.

I can’t say I’m a loyalist to any of them. I’ve had good and bad experiences with them all. I just look for cheap and convenient to be honest.

Domestically I’m team Delta. Most reliable and consistent. Crews can be fun - in FA played the trumpet as we disembarked. IFE is solid.
I will not fly American. No IFE; no room in that godawful Oasis cabin; big IRROPS problems; and inconsistent crews.
For international to Europe I try to fly Virgin Atlantic. Food is great, crews are fun, and they have a killer lounge in Heathrow. I’m blessed with being able to fly upper class but I believe their main cabin is pretty good too.
Qatar qsuites is amazing. Took them to the Maldives.
