I was going to say The Montage but that last sentence ruined that idea. It’s at least double that nightly price.

Dana Point has The Waldorf Astoria and Ritz Carlton and it’s very close to Laguna, but they may be close to the same price range as the Montage. Check them out to be sure.

Laguna Cliffs Marriott is another great option in Dana Point and is probably spot on in your price range.

If your flights are on the same airline, then it's fine.

Is that a fact?

I loathe evening flights given what could happen throughout the day causing delays. Been burned too many times on late afternoon and evening flights getting impacted by earlier flight schedules. That being said, you “should” be fine. I would start monitoring the inbound flight status as well as that flights inbound plane in the morning.

United only offers afternoon flights from IAH on that route.

Tight connection at IAH

Our incoming flight into IAH from LCH lands at 7:10 PM and we have an international flight taking off at 8:15. Is that too tight a window to make that work or should I look at other flight options?

My spouse and I are doing this same trip in mid June. I know your flight was expensive, because we booked a nonstop from Houston to London. Thankfully we had some airline miles to use. We are staying 3 nights in London, then taking the Eurostar and staying 3 nights in Paris. It will be our first time in Europe.

Stadium Swim would maybe make you change your mind.

I expected this to be a plant operator thread. I think it actually is, the replies notwithstanding.

I thought he was talking about Dow Chemical also, then everyone started commenting about stocks and the confusion set in.

Awake was very good and had lots of potential. I was sad to see it not get renewed.

What in the world was he talking about post victory regarding supply chain?

Maybe his degree program is logistics or supply chain management? Someone has to do it.
Lou Holtz used to tear his team down and tell everyone how terrible they were at each position. He would say “we can’t block, can’t tackle, can’t catch” and he did this to motivate his team.
60% Florida
30% Ole Miss
10% LSU

LSU once again gets the rug pulled out from under them just like with the last couple of coaching searches and several signing days.

Looking to purchase a new stove.

I’m looking to purchase a new freestanding range and I’m looking at 2 different Frigidaire ranges. One has a cutout height of 30” and the other has a cutout height of 45”. Will either of those work with our standard 36” cabinets?

Flooring

What is the going price per square foot flooring contractors are charging? We are changing carpet in 3 bedrooms and putting laminate flooring in the living room.

re: Why not Elko

Why would he come here?
quote:

Oh wow! He got a naming rights deal!! This is no different then when people wanted Billy Napier as LSU football coach. G5 and FCS personnel are simply not ready for the magnitude and responsibility that comes with a flagship university. The university deserves someone with better qualifications and experience. Going from Woodward to Scroyer would be such an unbelievable downgrade. I don’t think LSU would recover. We’re talking 90s level incompetence because we let a little ULL man in the governors office go on an ego trip. Apparently everyone’s okay with it because he likes Trump

I’m not arguing that he should be LSU’s AD, I agree it would certainly be a downgrade but I’m just saying the man has done an incredible job of raising money at a school that gets very little financial or community support. He is not a “budget slasher”.
quote:

If this is the AD choice we are fuuuuuucked. He would be brought in to be a hatchet man and slash budget. Goodbye any real chance at success in any sports in the current NIL landscape.

Can you explain what makes you say this? He has helped secure 2 naming rights deals for the McNeese football stadium and the basketball facility, which are huge for a university like McNeese that doesn’t have the resources that some schools do.

Can you share some of the things you’ve learned? I’ve been interested in this for a while now.
