Sextillion = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (10^21)
There’s gotta be more sand than that? With all of the deserts and beaches (there’s a lot of both) in the world, there’s got to be more than that. I was thinking more like an octillion or a nonillion, give or take. ...

We stopped in Oceanside last month to eat and watch the sunset on the way back up from San Diego and it was definitely a different crowd than we saw in in La ...
Day trip to San Diego
Posted by cassopher on 6/19/24 at 9:05 am
We are staying in Dana Point and we have had a couple of beach days in Laguna this week. We were kicking around the idea of heading down to San Diego for a day trip and maybe go to La Jolla cove and shores. We may even hop on the Pacific Surfliner and ride down. Is it worth a trip down there or s...
I recommend getting the cheapest seats at the box office and staying for 3 innings then leave. 3.5 hours is a long time in NYC.
Should the OP also get the cheapest tickets to a Broadway show, stay 20 minutes then leave? That’s some weird logic! It obviously depends on what part o...

Question for dentists or doctors
Posted by cassopher on 5/7/24 at 5:49 am
I’ve been having jaw pain on my right side only when opening my mouth to yawn or take a bite of food. It doesn’t hurt to chew or anything. It hurts kinda near the back of the jaw. I had a back tooth pulled back in January but that socket has been healed for some time now. Any ideas what it could...

Southern Cal trip

We are taking a trip to Southern California in June and we are staying in Anaheim for a week. One of the nights we are there I’d like to catch a baseball game but I have no interest in seeing the Angels. Please help me decide between seeing a Dodger game or driving down to S.D. and catching a Padr...

Long Weekend Ideas
Posted by cassopher on 12/29/23 at 12:12 pm
We are planning a long weekend trip from January 12-15th and have narrowed it down to Vegas, ski trip, or a weekend trip to Disney World. If we take the kids we will choose Disney or possibly skiing, but if it’s just me and the wife it’ll be Vegas or maybe a romantic ski weekend.
Any thoughts fr...

Breakers randomly tripping
Posted by cassopher on 12/21/23 at 5:20 pm
We moved into an 8 year old house in August and last week one of our breakers that powers our kitchen/living room randomly tripped twice. It is a 15 amp arc fault breaker and the only thing it’s powering is TV/soundbar, lights for the kitchen, and a few outlets that have cell chargers plugged into ...
