Heading to NOLA for a wedding next month and we will have our 5 month old with us. What are some good options that are child friendly while also being a little nice than casual for an evening dinner. Also what about Sunday brunch? Would Commanders Palace be an appropriate setting with an infant o...

Treadmill vs outdoor running - cassopher
I’ve been running since March and it has benefited me greatly, I’m down to 170 and have never felt better. We recently had a newborn and finding the opportunity to run has become a little problematic at times. I’ve considered joining a fitness center that offers daycare in the evenings and just ru...

re: Where to stay in Lake Charles - cassopher
The Nugget is worth it. It's a great place with lots of places to eat, a great pool area, and one of the best (albeit expensive) golf courses in the area. Tillman is housing the Rockets there in September during training camp so if it's good enough for an NBA team to play around then it's the best...
Were the beaches more crowded than GS/OB?
We arrived the weekend after the 4th of July so there was still LOTS of vacationers in northwest Florida at that time. Even Seagrove Beach was more crowded than I expected it to be although not nearly as crowded as PCB and definitely not...

re: Panama City Beach??? - cassopher
No it's not bad at all and I think the trashy stuff is a bit overblown. We stayed in Seagrove Beach 3 weeks ago and took a day trip to PCB to do a dolphin cruise and mini golf. Nothing at all that would stop us from going back to play or stay. It's been 4 years since we've rented a condo but IMO ...
