Lou Holtz used to tear his team down and tell everyone how terrible they were at each position. He would say “we can’t block, can’t tackle, can’t catch” and he did this to motivate his team.

60% Florida
30% Ole Miss
10% LSU
LSU once again gets the rug pulled out from under them just like with the last couple of coaching searches and several signing days.

Looking to purchase a new stove.

I’m looking to purchase a new freestanding range and I’m looking at 2 different Frigidaire ranges. One has a cutout height of 30” and the other has a cutout height of 45”. Will either of those work with our standard 36” cabinets?
What is the going price per square foot flooring contractors are charging? We are changing carpet in 3 bedrooms and putting laminate flooring in the living room.
Why would he come here?

Oh wow! He got a naming rights deal!! This is no different then when people wanted Billy Napier as LSU football coach. G5 and FCS personnel are simply not ready for the magnitude and responsibility that comes with a flagship university. The university deserves someone with better qualifications and experience. Going from Woodward to Scroyer would be such an unbelievable downgrade. I don’t think LSU would recover. We’re talking 90s level incompetence because we let a little ULL man in the governors office go on an ego trip. Apparently everyone’s okay with it because he likes Trump
I’m not arguing that he should be LSU’s AD, I agree it would certainly be a downgrade but I’m just saying the man has done an incredible job of raising money at a school that gets very little financial or community support. He is not a “budget slasher”.

If this is the AD choice we are fuuuuuucked. He would be brought in to be a hatchet man and slash budget. Goodbye any real chance at success in any sports in the current NIL landscape.
Can you explain what makes you say this? He has helped secure 2 naming rights deals for the McNeese football stadium and the basketball facility, which are huge for a university like McNeese that doesn’t have the resources that some schools do.
Can you share some of the things you’ve learned? I’ve been interested in this for a while now.
It’s gotta be a big name hire

It’s gotta be someone that can come in and stop the bleeding right away like an Urban Meyer, Kiffin, or another slam dunk hire. That’s the only way to instill faith in the program again.

I’ve read plenty of these “…and it’s not close” comments but this is by far the most legit.

4 vehicles and you only pay $250/month? What coverage do you have for it to be so cheap?

These Mormons are out of control.

All those museums would be closed by a shutdown. I'd cancel.
If it were just me and my wife, I think we could make the most of it but our 6 year old is coming and the museums and the zoo we’re going to be her entertainment in between us enjoying the monuments and government buildings. Hopefully our congressional leaders can work things out but it’s looking very unlikely.
I’m considering canceling DC vacation
Posted by cassopher on 9/25/25 at 4:33 pm
Our family is visiting DC next month (October 12-18th) and we were a bit worried about the potential government shutdown derailing plans that we’ve made. To begin with, because of the new ballroom being built our White House tour was canceled. We’ve scheduled a Capitol tour with our district Representative, as well as FBI and BEP tour scheduled, not to mention the Smithsonian museums and all of those tours are at risk if a shutdown occurs. For those that have visited during a shutdown or are familiar with the situation, what is open? Is it still a worthwhile visit if the situation were to last weeks into October or should we just change plans and go to our second choice, San Diego on short notice??
