I followed Cheer on my phone and got home in the Top of the 8th. My TV was already on ESPN+. Got to watch it all, and it was glorious!

Sitting at a local watering hole AKA neighborhood bar watching the game with a bunch of depressed fans until that rally started.
Then all hell broke loose and they were hooting, hollering and in awe of the outcome.
Impressive finish, but I would not count on that happening again if in the same situation.

In the truck on my way back from hattiesburg. Left in the 6th and told my family and friends, our best shot at winning was me leaving then.

After the 7th, I actually started getting ready for bed (0315 wake up call). Went back into the den at the start of the bottom of the 8th and said to myself “let’s just see if there’s any sign of life”. FULLY expecting (based on how the game was going) to go night-night a few mins later. Needless to say I was awake for the rest of the game. I’ll say this…shite happened FAST! Kennesaw St didn’t know what hit them!

I was asleep. I took it easy last night. Only had 4 vodkas and a Valium. Had to get a good night’s rest for today. I need to be ready for a full Saturday of hookers and blow down at Legends in Biloxi. It’s been a while, but as a recently divorced 50 year old, I’m gonna give it a Geaux. Bookmark this fricker. I had the game on youtube, open in a different tab. Stopped watching it constantly at about 8-4, at 11-4 I was surfing on other stuff and just had it on for background noise, for the most part. Heard the announcers get excited, flipped back over and we had the bases loaded and nobody out. Flipped back but tried not to get my hopes up...
