Bingo. She's getting paid like a capitalist in America. She just has an over inflated sense of the actual value she brings people. When you boil it all down to the simplest form, the reason WNBA players get paid what they do (if you take away the subsidizing of course) is they get paid for the value they bring people.

Not even true. The league loses money and is basically a charity of the NBA. Local intramural leagues are more profitable than the WNBA

I don't get the newsworthy fascination this incident is getting. If I did something forbidden in another country I'd expect to be locked away. But the US loves to reward people for dumb behavior.
