My 4-yr old has suddenly switched to calling me 'old man' for some reason

He has completely stopped calling me daddy, dad etc. for a couple of days now. Kids are so weird, funny and unpredictable.

I think the consensus amongst child development experts is for you to hold the kid down and just lay on top of him until he acknowledges your dominance.
