Wanda has probably been the best written woman characters in the MCU, so I’m not sure where the problem is. Carol’s character had writing problems as well as the same problem Superman has as the writers made her super OP. Also if you have an Oscar winner as your main character why are going to have her character be written as emotionless

Yeah and Wanda is wrote pretty great. She is flawed, emotional, and is just trying to find her place.
She isn't Rey from Star Wars. She isn't Captain Marvel. She makes mistakes. She screws up.
This is what makes it difficult when you have legit complaints about female characters. If you complain about the really good ones, simply because you want to lump "all female/minority = bad" than no one cares when a character actually deserves to be called out. And morons who just want to be toxic cause all fans to get lumped together.

Agreed. After WandaVision, she’s probably a top 3 MCU character for me

To whom are you referring? Do you even know or just stating vague and tired criticisms of the MCU?
Specifically talking about Wanda being praised for her “heroic sacrifice” of releasing a town’s worth of people from her complete control. If she’s a villain going forward, that would be okay by me. Also, they’ve poorly written her powers from appearance to appearance.
They’re only vague and tired because they fit so many characters and have not been corrected.

This was 100% because they didn't want to promote the X-Men while they didn't own the movie rights, and for no other reason.

Even if the cinematic and advertising choices hadn’t all been pointing to a central part for Scarlet Witch (which they have), just check out the comics or if not that just look at the lore a bit. They are building up to her for good reason she’s fricking OP

Was there anything more embarrassing in the comics than when they tried to replace the X-Men with the Inhumans? That was some of their worst storylines.

Ami the only one that doesn’t give a shite about all these super hero movies? I have zero interest in seeing them. It’s just a massive money grab with zero original content and creativity. I wish people would reject them outright to get Hollywood to get back to making great movies with good writing. I think that’s why I’ve gotten into so man European shores. The writing is so much better

I remember when people were praising a Star is Born for being a great original movie from Hollywood, failing to realize it was a remake of a remake.
If you think superhero movies is what keeps original movies from being made despite there being multiple streaming services, I can't help you.
Someone give me the latest box office numbers for Northman, Everything Everywhere All at Once, or Massive Talent. Last time I looked those original movies were way behind two sequels and an animated kids movie from a book series.
