McDonald's Coke is the best fountain soda on the face of the planet.

If by best you mean worst then you’re right

McDonalds puts way too much syrup and not enough carbonated water into their cokes.

Canes and chick fil a have the best fast food soda fountain cokes.

Yes. This thread is making me tweak now. I haven’t eaten fast food in 2022. 4 months strong.

Nothing to do with fountain drinks, but this guy in our building eats his lunch outside on the building patio when the weather is nice. I can see this space from my office window. Dude two fists a Dr Pepper and a Pepsi (not diet) everyday. He weighs about 3 bills and is around late 20s.

Stainless steel glass? I don't think that's a thing.

In a study conducted among ten fast-food franchises, it was found that 60% of the locations' ice cubes had higher bacteria levels than the water samples taken from their toilets.

What it probably means is that toilet water has less live bacteria/is cleaner than most people believe.

It’s pretty disgusting. Clientele at self-serve soda dispensing machines are pretty gross overall.

Couple that with the staff not sanitizing the parts overnight (or ever) and it’s a recipe for bacteria

No thanks

I couldn't imagine putting this much thought into getting a drink at a convenience store

If I get taken out by some weird bacteria from the Big Gulp fountain...well, then I suppose it was just my time to go. I don't have any spare time to be afraid of fountain drink machines.

I mean it’s pretty much common knowledge that the ice machines are gross and never get cleaned. You’ll be fine

No, it's just how dyes/coloring get excreted. Works for things artificially colored purple as well.

Check out the cup lid dispenser next time you are in a Circle K. They are all disgusting. I don't think they ever get cleaned and they have years of dust/dirt/grime, etc. on them. But hey the kids love polar pops and they are cheap so I will continue to buy them. Rarely do I partake though.

One has to challenge the immune system. It needs to be strong when we really need it. Fountain soda is a force multiplier.
