Pics from 2022 NOLA Air Show (Add your own if you'd like)

I know there is another thread about the show already but that's more of an informative thread. Let's make this one for pics. Unfortunately, my phone died just as the Blue Angels were about to start so I didn't get any pics of their demonstration.
Had a great time. Great show. Interesting to see the Blue Angels struggle with some mechanical difficulties in multiple planes and have to break out a spare plane and then perform the show 1 plane short. As usual, It was easy to get into the show if you got there early but leaving was a disaster. Took 2 hours just to get off the damn westbank!
And now, to the pics!

cdaniel, I made a commissary run yesterday and had no idea of the air show...talk about flashbacks, it reminded me of the one I went to 60 years ago (truth), was glad to see that people were allowed to see the planes on the ground...
hopefully the Blues will be flying with their full contingent today!

My Dad used to take me every year when I was a kid and I still recall memories from them from time to time. I brought my own sons for the first time 5 years ago. My youngest was only 3 and he barely remembered any of it. He's 8 now and absolutely loved every second of it yesterday.

It appears,by the pics that you were the photographer next to me with the Nikon with maybe a 200mm lens. Not sure about Nikon equip, I'm about to buy new Sony mirrorless

It didn’t take us long to get out fortunately. Very weird with the blue angels, but the best part for me was the F-35 by a wide margin. That is an extremely impressive machine and looks mean.

Nope. All those pics were taken with an iPhone 12 Pro Max!
