Heard the Blue Angels had more issues today as well. One of them even had to abort the demonstration and land, I heard?

Just got home.
This was our first time going, and wow, what an amazing show.

The F35s are simply amazing machines to watch perform. I had a freedom boner the whole time while I was there.

The blue angels are incredible. On one flyby, they were so close that I didn't realize that it was two planes.

1 and 2 couldn't take off yesterday. Pilot from 1, the lead pilot for the diamond, jumped in 3. Was 3 the lead plane today as well?

Dad used to take me to the airshow as a kid. I took my kids today and it was great. I thought the Rattlers really put on a show. Really a great event all the way through.

My phone didn't take any good quality pics but my 4yr old daughter picked this shirt as a momento.

P3?

Don't know what you are asking? The P3 is an old Lockheed Electra airframe operated by the Navy. Then pic is a C 130 Hercules. Looks like another C 130 for the Blue Angels is in the back ground.

Some of my greatest memories as a kid were going to the air show with my dad. Going down Hwy 23 and seeing that Blue Angel plane at the entrance to the base. Until I was 7 or 8 my dad was still in the Navy Reserves and was stationed there at the base. We used to get access to damn near anything we wanted.

I brought my sons for the first time was 5 years ago when they were 7 and 3.5. They enjoyed this one much much more, especially my youngest.

But I was probably the bigger kid out of all of us. Those F35s were amazing to see, hear and FEEL. The local F18s and F15s were awesome. That F16 and it's paint scheme were awesome. The old planes, the Corsair and the Mustang were amazing. That paint scheme and the sound of that Merlin engine on the P51 is unlike anything else. The stunt planes were a kick in the pants as well. And then the precision and excellence of the Blue Angels...

The air show is great FREE entertainment to bring the whole family to for a fun time.
