Aside from the obligatory iPhone, what is your favorite electronic item that you've owned during your lifetime?

I've always been a tech guy, so I could list off a host of things, but my favorite is probably my current gaming computer. Built it myself, so I have all of the pride and ownership that comes along with that, and I've been able to play some truly incredible games that I had been waiting years to play, and got to replay some old favorites having a much better experience.

Tivo

It came out when the kids were little and any time we were watching tv they needed something.

That yellow button to pause what we were watching was heaven sent.

Cable internet was my first broadband service and I bought this cable modem just because it looked so badass for its time:

Not sure why, but I think cable modems are some of the neatest devices out there. It is probably just a nostalgia thing.

my PC, especially my first PC I got as a hand-me-down from my dad back in the 90s. I had so much fun playing Warcraft and Duke Nukem3d. We had AOL and it was fun meeting people online. That was more of my childhood than Nintendo lol.

First PC I owned as a kid in the 90's, Windows 95 Plus, VAIO Space, 3D Movie Maker, Mercenaries 3D, built in TV tuner and ATI graphics card.

All I do is work with computers and I still think about this classic. I miss it.

High speed internet was an absolute game changer.

Even just 3mbps dsl was a massive improvement over dialup for basic web browsing and such.

Spent a lot of time in my bedroom listening to albums, cassettes, and yes, CDs, running through one that looked just like this.
