Russia didn’t get banned from SWIFT. A few banks did.

Reckon the Russians and Chinese have been expecting something like this to happen eventually. Curious to see if they have anything able to roll out sometime soon or if they're going to be royally fricked.

It’s limited to a few banks, but it sends a very serious message to Russia and China.

It sends the very serious message, "We'll do something for public consumption. But, don't worry, we're not going to do anything that will really cause you pain since we're beholden to you for our energy needs."

Putin is royally screwed. No money coming in or out. The Chinese would have to be idiots to continue supporting Putin risking their already shakey financial situation with potential collateral damage from Russian SWIFT sanctions.

SWIFT is not the end-all of international transactions. Its true that about half of large cross-border transactions use SWIFT, but banning Banks from it is not the big deal the media is making it out to be.

A few state owned banks in China have even instituted some sanctions on Russia. They haven't, yet, proven too keen to dive in front of the bus for Putin.

This is the equivalent of basketball fans being punished by canceling the NIT instead of March Madness

The SWIFT stuff is some Russian banks, with more to come. The Ruskies are rushing the banks to get their money out, Prices have gone up 30% in two weeks and the supply chain is grinding to a halt.

Question is, was this something the banking Rothchilds wanted, or is something else going on…..?

SWIFT ban is like the nuclear bombing of finance.
