Yeah. Eastern Europe didn't have a choice in being Soviet satellites, but they sure didn't want to face that threat again.
And as soon as Ukraine was attacked Sweden and Finland ran to NATO. The Swedes who stayed neutral in the World Wars and the Finns who fought Russia for so long.

My ultimate top line reason, the neocons are evil, and they are impoverishing and destroying this country. I want them to lose, and I want to see them run out of this country.
And you accomplish this by supporting the neocons of another country?
Seeing past your nose is hard.

Can’t wait to see Lady Graham and Eyepatch McCain’s tantrums

And you believe Putin is the best thing for Ukraine while he has started a war killing tens of thousands on both sides? I guess that doesn’t matter to you. You probably think Ukraine should have just layer down their weapons and welcomed them into Kyiv. Wipe Putin’s cum off your lip, you seriously have issues. Please go join his army then they will take anyone, even a shite like you.

Really starting to look like Russia is just grinding the Ukrainians down.
It is obvious they don't give a shite about dead bodies.
They also don't give a shite if their tanks get destroyed.
They will pull out a WW1 piece of equipment to gain a yard of territory.
Time for Ukraine to sit down at the negotiating table.
Not what anyone wants to hear, but Ukraine is out of options at this point.
Because of the points you listed above, Russia is not willing to negotiate anything short of keeping all the territories it currently has, the removal of the current government and install Russian puppet, and no NATO for Ukraine.
the latter two means then end of Ukraine, so they will fight until Russia wipes them out or leaves

The war is on us, or the neocons at least, we pushed NATO eastwards, and tried to turn Russia's neighbours on her. See Ukraine, Georgia, and Kazakhstan. Russia eventually reacted as Kennan said they would,
quote:
"I think the Russians will gradually react quite adversely and it will affect their policies. I think it is a tragic mistake. There was no reason for this whatsoever."
The war is also a genuine civil war, which I realize is not a correct thought, but you can see that in the refugee flow. There are more than 5 million Ukrainians in Russia. They could have gone anywhere, they chose Russia.

There are wars going on all across planet Earth.
I hope the good guys win all of them but they aren't any of our business and we damn sure shouldn't be funding them.
If Putin takes a shite in Zelensky's toilet one day or ends his days swinging from a rope it's not going to impact the United States in any way. Trust me. I'm 50 years old and Ukraine was fricking part of the Soviet Union for almost half my life. We were all fine and that was when Russia was more than a regional nuisance.
Ukraine isn't worth ten cents of our money and Russia is a third rate power at best with demographics so bad it likely won't exist in a hundred years.

The West and Russia have held negotiations involving Ukraine for several decades. Deals have been cut and deals have been ignored.
Russia repeatedly sent troops into Ukraine using different excuses. In 22 they went after Ukraine in a big way.
There is no way Russia is going to accept peace. That genie is out of the bottle. And you are right, Ukrsine either can fight or surrender. There is no middle ground.

Did they go voluntarily, were they forced into Russia, or were they part of Ukraine that Russia is trying to absorb?
Before the Russians invaded, could they have not just emigrated if they preferred Russia?

As party of that same deal, we guaranteed Russia that NATO would not expand east. Despite that we expanded it to the point of preparing to include Ukraine. I don’t agree with Russia invading Ukraine, but the writing was in the wall when we continued expanding east.
This would be a no.
There are zero deals with any guarantees to Russia regarding NATO expansion or a sphere of post-Soviet influence. None, zip, zilch. Nada.

Russia has been aggressively attacking their neighbors for decades now. Their armies have captured nations. They killed millions of their neighbors and millions of their own doing it.
You keep blaming someone for their barbaric behavior. Today it’s the neocons. Tomorrow what will it be? The Nazis? The Jews? Congress? Biden? The Bio Labs?
The fact is it’s Russia that is the antagonist here and their goal is power.

Greenwald has done great reporting demonstrating how messed up the US government is. It's necessary to point out how bad the United States is at times.
He cherry picked things from Wikileaks which is already cherry picked info without context.
Other than that he has been involved in the gay business, porn, brothels and "dating" services though most of that is in Rio

Voluntarily
There were 1.6 million Ukrainians in Russia before the fighting began in 2014, of which two thirds were economic migrants. That figure climbed to 3.2 million by 2020, bolstered by refugees. I spoke with one person who had family in Odessa, he said they sold everything they had, and moved to Russia. This was before the war started in 22.

I think it takes some desperation to leave your home. These people have lived here for centuries. There were people who never left Bahkmut (!) despite the fighting. It is common to have family on both sides of the border though, for what its worth.

Imagine being as big of a cuck as CitizenK. He's a white male (presumably straight) and supports Biden on 90% of the issues.
