UPDATE ON UKRAINE 16 April 2023
General Colonel Mikhail Teplinsky, commander of Russia's corps of airborne troops, the VDV, has highly likely returned to a major role in Ukraine. He was previously dismissed from the theatre in January 2023.
Teplinsky is likely one of the few senior Russian generals widely respected by the rank-and-file. His recent turbulent career suggests intense tensions between factions within the Russian General Staff about Russia's military approach in Ukraine.
It is unlikely Teplinsky's remit will be limited to VDV units, but he is highly likely to promote the corps' traditional role as an elite force. In recent days, the VDV have resumed a key mission in the battle for Bakhmut, and likely undertaken novel integration with TOS-1A thermobaric rocket launchers in the Kremina sector.

For shiites and giggles I watched a few interviews of Col. MacGregor, Trump's military advisor and candidate to be ambassador to Germany. What a liar but then again he has been a guest on RT news in the past.

But please, tell us more about our savior Tucker reporting 7:1 casualty ratio in Russia’s favor and Russia just not wanting to advance with such a favorable ratio. I’m no military strategist, but a year plus of that ratio is problematic for the undersized defender to the point of likely collapse, yet here they remain keeping Russia from taking a town for the last 8+ months.

On the subject of Russian disinformation operations here in the United States, here is a story about “Donbas Devushka”, a pro-Russia social media influencer who claims to be Ukrainian, but who is actually a Navy vet born in New Jersey who lives in Washington state. Interesting stuff.

They can't, mostly due to the size of their bureaucracy. Hell, they have many units that don't even have small arms ammo to train with. Last report I saw, it's going to be at least 2-3 before they start seeing changes.

Anybody hearing roomers that a nato command center was hit near bakhumut (sp?)
Supposedly if it is true a US general may have been killed along with a bunch of others. Possibly a reason the counter offensive has not started yet.

Here ya go! But the rumored secret NATO base was in Lviv, in Western Ukraine, and not near Bakhmut.
As I've said before, I'll work hard to make sure you don't have to wait for Tucker Putin's show to get your up-to-date Russian propaganda.
