Hire that guy over Bienemy and the blue check brigade will melt for days

The amount of white writers tripping over themselves to commend Flores is predictable but funny.

I'm REALLY curious how toxic Miami was. Clearly there were rumors and the team got out in the media first (wonder if those blue check marks feel white guilt now). But if Ross was really trying to tank and saddled Flores with shitty Tua, I really see Flores's side of the story.

I'll laugh my arse off if this is all b/c of the BB text and BB had no inside information and was relying on the same media reports we all read about how NYG was hiring Daboll from a while ago. That wasn't exactly secret information and BB could have easily been relying on public information.

Flores lasted in Miami for 3 years, which is right on average for the NFL.

So even Bill is subject to old man behavior? Reading fake news and texting the wrong person ?

He's too much of a distraction now to hire him. Nothing to do with racism, I like him and he'd make a pretty damn good hire, but now, fuuuuuuuck that.

So if a black person interviews for a job and doesn't get the job as a result of said interview, it's racist?
Isn't that a little absurd?
I mean, I've went through maybe 20 interviews in my career and I've only been offered the job in maybe 5 of them. Should I sue? I am white, though. But I may start identifying as a gay, black woman.

Flores just said on ESPN that he did inform the Saints about the lawsuit before their meetings

Seems like the team is handling it well, kept the interview, keeping themselves out of the fire

So if he interviews with the Saints and doesn't get the job will he be adding them to his money-grubbing suit?

The lawsuit is against the entire NFL, so they're already part of it

Sorry...I thought the NFL is a separate organization that stands on its' own and he was suing them along with each of the individual teams.

This means nothing to me.

You might as well say black people should just go back to being slaves since they are too dumb to do anything else.

How could we enslave such superior athletes with comparable tactical and strategic abilities? Seems IMPLAUSIBLE.

This is a larger issue and it is actually one you should support. NFL has affirmative action rules about interviews - teams are mandated to interview black candidates. Flores is saying that he is brought in after they already hired someone to just fulfill the racial quota. He is challenging that action as racist.

The Rooney Rule was established to give opportunities to black candidates, but instead it is labeling them as minorities and asking them to attend interviews because they are minorities, not to hire them, but just so that the NFL can claim they gave a black man a chance so they are not racist.

Flores is saying he and other black coaches should be considered for their qualifications not cause of race - It is the system built to elevate them because of race that is broken.

I find his claim that ownership offered him a bribe to lose games more concerning. Cause if ownership is bribing coaches, they are bribing other people.

Opens another whole can of worms. If proven true, we're potentially in Black Sox territory.

If they also interviewed Aaron Glenn, that shoots a big hole in that.
